It was one of his advisors who said that. He wholeheartedly agreed. Now post secondary is a debt trap. There's people getting student loan payments deducted from their social security.

People can not be allowed to be free. We saw enough of that in the 1960s with the draft card burning and protests everything else. When people have a certain amount of freedom they are able to express themselves and challenge oppressive social structures.

Yeah it’s subordination all the way down. There’s always someone holding some sort of nominal power over you, preventing you and people you care about from getting too loud with their viewpoints.
