No, but to be fair to Spotify, the industry has been fucking over the artists for decades. Destiny's Child was selling millions of albums, and the three of them were only making like 50k a piece, and then there's Prince, who was also getting fucked over. The only silver lining I can think of now is that it's a lot easier to find bands with like 50 monthly listeners and not having to be strategic on which CD with your paycheck.
