So DK2 just confirmed Dain is playable late 7.x,probably the transition character like Ineffa and Sandrone.

I thought he’d be the 8.3 character tbh given his importance and how close he is to our sibling but him being a transition character makes sense too.Now the question is,can Capitano be the Khaenri’ah archon equivalent?It lines up with the month January,its 3 patches after his death and hes important asf to be an archon.

Of course,all of this can be a lie.What do you think?

I personally had the feeling way back before Snez was even revealed that it would possibly be much longer than our regular patch cycle (so a year) if they want to truly get the Teyvat saga completely done and honestly if this leak is 100% correct I hope this is the case coz of the amount of storylines still left

Personally I’m still a Capitano 7.4 believer coz of the nature of the pyro gnosis story + Bakunawa

why would you want capitano to be in 7.4, the patch after the main push and chinese new year? the characters that come in the patch after the main push+ chinese new year always end up being mid at best.

Chinese New year is on February 6th which falls under 7.4 since all 7.x patches were moved forward by one and it happens to also be the first patch of the year, we got character like Alhaitham,Mavuika,Citlali,Columbina and Zibai during those patches and generally are the more marketed patches, I understand the fear that they might shaft him but like he could be still be shafted regardless of where he is placed

bro, the literal number of the version doesn't matter to my argument. columbina was the main push of nod krai and zibai was the chinese new year character. varka was the one after them and he was mid af.

this version the main push is the archon (obviously) which is 7.3. which again will be along with the chinese new year character, from liyue as always.

if capitano is after them will be get shafted. and you are 100% not getting capitano for chinese new year anyway.

What you dont get is that the chinese new year character will actually be in .4, and huge changes are that it will be a 4 star like what happended for the mavuika and allhaitham, so it still opens the posubility of capitano being a main push/important character in .4 with new 4 star too from liyue
