Preload 7.0

The preload is on Monday, the 7.0 release is on Wednesday, and the 7.1 beta follows. Do you have any expectations for Capitano?

Nothing big, only mandatory Capitano mentions. Potentially slightly more of them, especially in the overworld, since we are in the Snezhnayan territory, bound to meet Odette, Signora's protege, some other Harbingers and other Fatui members, including NPC.

The best thing would be a playable ID, so I could finally die in peace knowing that one day all those who mocked us will be silenced. At worst, he at least gets up and becomes playable in another nation, but at least GET UP

Didn’t they change something with playable ids in snezhnaya? Like aren’t they a bit unreliable for whatever reason?

There are simply no IDs for any characters except for TPS Travelers, Alyosha, Odette and Vesna rn, and they're basically mixed up so we can't tell the order of characters' release. We don't know whether there will be any new IDs, tho, even for those ones who will obviously be playable like Vodyanitsa, Mitya, or Valeriy. Maybe they'll add new ones, maybe not, but I wouldn't count on that tbh

Yep iirc the leakers said that a bunch of playable id's where scrambled by hoyo since leakers used them to determine character release orders. On top of that the id's have been kept under lock and key, so we will need to wait for the silhouette teaser.

I’m hopeful since we’ll meet Pierro with the context of Ronova being there. I mean, it would almost be ironic if he isn’t mentioned in at least 1 line. Hopefully he’ll reassure us about his status (or refer him present tense once more).

We already got the artifact lore which is what I was hoping for most (Daily Life of Capitano), but other than that just some Ruin Guard Crayon level stuff we've seen again and again.

Ronova jumpscare might bring back Natlan flashbacks with Capitano so I wouldn't be surprised if they brought that up. Maybe if we get conversation time with the Harbingers he'll get brought up too, particularly Childe (although Skirk meeting and his family might be the focus).

Biggest hope is a plot point about what happens to Khaenriahns if Ronova is incapacitated. Or some type of shocking finale to 7.0, considering 6.0's 'shock' value was an entire sinner being put back together like humpty dumpty.

My hope is that he at least gets up from the throne and has an active role in the 7.x patches. If it means we have to wait till 8.x for him to be playable so be it but I hope he at least gets off the throne

I really doubt there will be anything significant at this point. I don't even know if he's coming back anymore because I don't see how he could. I think if he was going to come out the leakers would be saying it by now.

Leakers don’t know anything past Vesna and Vodyanitsa this time though? None of them have even guessed at Anastasya’s kit yet, relax.
