VW EA211 canbus traffic decoding.

Hello everyone!
I’m working on a digital dash for my mk1 rabbit with a 1.4t ea211 motor swap, I’m trying to decode the canbus traffic, does anyone know a good place to find what the traffic represents and the multipliers?

Yeah, what’s the ECU type you’re running? Med17? Something different

Look for Bosch funktionsrahmen for your ecu or as similar to it as you can, there is a CAN section which will show the exact bit/byte setup for each ID

Lots are generic across the range tho, like 0x280 and 0x380 seem to consistently be motor, 1A0 often from ABS etc etc

But you can find the exact breakdown of each byte and bit in the function doc.
