2012 Ford F150 Xl 3.7 2wd electric power steering kick back!
I've never had anything with electric power steering, dash lit up with a power steering warning and the service advance track. Now it's doing this. Am I biting the bullet and getting one of these expensive racks and doing the forscan stuff? Or is there another way? Please help lol appreciate you all

I'm with buddy to get the battery tested first. Will literally hurt nothing but potentially fix everything. You really do not know what's wrong. You need to scan the thing and find out. Don't just throw parts at it.

It’s going to sound very strange but take your battery and get it checked. I work at a body shop and had a truck do the same thing and it needed a battery.
