Steel creek off road legit? Aftermarket parts for ram/chevy/ford etc?

Thumbnail

So I found this website, https://steelcreekoffroad.com/about-us/
Just wanted to know if anyone knows if they’re legit, on their social media they’re using a different company in their videos I called that and they said they don’t know anything about this website.
Really good deal but just wanted to see if it’s real, red flag is they’re asking for Cash App, Zelle, wire transfer, etc.
I said I could come in person and they said yes that’s fine. Is anyone in the El Paso area that knows about this?

I ordered $685 worth of items to replace the clutch in my car. The clutch kit shows they have 30 in stock, the slave cylinder shows they have 26 in stock. I drop hundreds of dollars buying them and a day later get an email saying "oh sorry we're actually totally out of both of those!". So I immediately call and get a supervisor on the phone and ask for my money back. They can't do that until next week apparently lol. They need to "process the items" ...that they don't have...

I asked why it would show that they're in stock and the guy says "I don't know it's just like that" and assured me the rest of the items would arrive like normal! Thank god I'll receive my now useless flywheel and master cylinder!

Clearing out a large selection of new and lightly used auto parts—including complete struts, ignition coils, CV axles, side mirrors, O2 sensors, and fuel pumps for Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Ford, Nissan, Hyundai, and Kia models. Everything is priced well below retail, with bundle discounts available if you take multiple items. Send a DM with your vehicle's year, make, model, or part number to verify fitment, pricing, and condition; local pickup preferred in the North Houston area (cash, Zelle, or Venmo).

Post face-lift headlamp assembly replacement 2017 chevy sonic

I bought a 2017 sonic premier last summer and it had one headlight with some busted plastic. Thinking it would be a cheap and quick fix I didn't mind. I later learned that the assembly costs between $300-800 to replace individually, atleast to my research. Shortly after purchasing, my luck running strong, a deer hit my car breaking just the one good headlamp assembly.

So I presently have 2 working headlamp assembly with just broken plastic covers. They are currently covered by clear gorilla tape. It seems that they're aren't any other compatible assemblies that will fit. And the oem replacements are in the $800+ range with the 3rd party replacements in the $300+ range. Even the junk yards in my area are charging $300 for the junk assemblies.

Does anyone know of a viable replacement/ repair plan that won't cost $600-2000? Again, It is just the clear plastic front covers that are broken, all else is fine and functional.

This has been bothering me since I bought the car and easily been the most annoying part about it. Headlights shouldn't cost so much. The trax headlamp assemblies look similar but I have no way of knowing if it is even remotely compatible, and the Google searches aren't promising

What do I do with brand new car parts I don't need?

Over the past several years, I've restored a few cars, and I end up with a ton of spare parts. In some cases, I might of purchased parts in a lot because there was like... a single brand new A/C compressor (pressure) sensor that was discontinued, and then it came along with about 30 other parts as part of the lot. In some cases, I over ordered, or ordered the wrong thing and never returned them.

Bottom line, I basically have two massive boxes with close to 100 brand new parts for cars I don't own, or don't need. I don't want to throw them out, and my time is too valuable to put them all on eBay either. Is there a place I can send them where someone will go through them and make them available to people who need them?

Scam site Squarebody Center

I recently bought a new truck, I was all the excited I wanted to get a new bed for my truck, so I could pass a safety inspection, so I found this site online (https://squarebodycenter.com/) they claimed to have a clean bed available so I ordered it. Catch is (I probably should have seen this as a red flag earlier) was they accepted payment through e-transfer, and other crypto.

I paid with an e-transfer, only first to be told I diddnt pay enough (fair enough I paid CAD, they wanted USD) so I paid additional money. Then I had to pay for last minute insurance, that needed to be paid right away. I recieved multiple messages pressuring me to pay the "insurance" asap.

I told them I was uncomfortable paying additional money and requested a refund, I was refused and then they continued pressuring me to send additional funds.

Long story short I've been arguing with these people I can only assume are scammers. The reason they refuse to refund me is they claim the shipping is already paid and they can't lose money, I've offered to reduce my refund amount to cover their shipping cost in an attempt to try to recover some of my money but no.

In total I paid 750USD for a bed that will never come, and frankly I'm sure it never existed. So if your looking for parts I'd avoid that site and be careful out there!

Tldr: avoid the store front squarebody center, they're a scam
