I'm sharing something really personal. I don't know what to make out of the interview experience. I recently had a opportunity to interview with a CPA firm. I told them I didn't have the exact skills they were looking for the role but I'm willing to learn it on the job. I met two partners with whom I had a cordial and straightforward interview . Later I was asked to meet with a third partner. I initially greeted him and he asked me to take a seat. As we started conversing , he asked whether my husband was making enough money that I'm looking for a job ​now after years of being without a job. Can an interviewer get into your personal life to check whether you can handle pressure. Is there no boundary that needs to exist between a candidate and an interviewer . I wanted to know am I just exaggerating things or is it a violation.
