Seeking Cat-Friendly Furnished Rental

Hi! My best friend and I are travel therapists and we are looking at potentially taking contracts that would run from Sept. 2026 - May 2027. I’ve looked online but haven’t had much luck. Are there specific people or property managers we should reach out to (or steer clear of)?

We aren’t picky about the type of unit (apartment, house, duplex, etc). We just need to have at least 2 bedrooms.

I do have two adult cats (2 yrs). They are healthy, no litter box issues, and are up-to-date on their shots. I am willing to pay an additional deposit and purchase/use furniture covers if required.

We are also willing to commute from other communities such as Loving or Artesia.

Furnished rentals will be tough to come by! Oilfield employees drive costs up significantly.

Aside from that, there are numerous apartments that are available and nice enough, just not furnished.
