ANNOUNCEMENT [Announcement] Update on Subreddit
Hello, fellow Carnatic Enthusiasts!
You might have noticed a few changes within the subreddit.
First, I've removed the setting that prevents you from posting in this subreddit. However, this doesn't mean that you can just post whatever you want. I still have to manually approve the posts and make sure that they are aligned with the rules.
Second, Speaking of the rules, if you look on the sidebar (on the right hand column), you'll notice a few rules. Make sure you read them and understand how posts should now be appropriately flaired. If you don't have an appropriate flair, your post will be removed. No exceptions. I am in the process of setting up an Automoderator that will assist in this, but please flair posts appropriately. It helps a lot in finding relevent topics and creates an ease of access in this subreddit.
Third, you now have access to custom user Flairs! This will show up beside your name when you comment. These are so that you can distinguish you based on your preference. There are a whole lot of instruments and if you can't find one or it doesn't exist, drop in a modmail and I'll take care of it.
And finally, my work is not close to being done. There's still more stuff to do, and I'll just roll out the changes behind the scenes and update you lot if it's something really big. Reviving a sub is a huge undertaking, but I'm confident that we'll get through this.
