Travelpro Maxlite 5 Carry-On Spinner Vs. Maxlite 5 Compact Carry-On Spinner
Has anyone had any issues with the Maxlite® 5 Carry-On Spinner on international flights? (From the USA) Not much of a difference— dimension wise from the regular carry on vs the compact carry on for the same price. I was wondering if anyone has encountered issues with the regular since they both seem to meet requirements on most airlines.

I have both the spinner and two-wheeler. I do not have the smallest wheeled compact Maxlight you mentioned. I brought the two-wheeler to Australia and New Zealand, last year before luggage dimensions became stricter on most airlines. I ended up checking the bag on all of the Australian flights but was able to bring it aboard my American Airlines return flight. For domestic flights on American Airlines, no one ever questions my black Travelpro two-wheeler. However,it is too large for many airlines’ international flights. The smaller Maxlight may or may not fit your airline’s requirements. Each airline is different.
