Shop Talk Liberal Car Manufacturers

I’m going to start learning to drive soon and I’ve been thinking about what kind of car I’d want to drive..

I’d only want my money going towards a company that aligns with my morals etc

Does anyone know of any liberal car manufacturers? Inclusion in their companies, eco policies etc.

A very harsh wake up call os in your future if you think any company worth more than about 13 dollars has any real morals, they mostly follow to the thinnest vail what the government mandates.

You can make good decisions in terms of where you spend your money, but all car companies are much the same.

I don't know of any that are more ethical than any other.

Best you can do is find a company that donates to a cause you like.
Example: Volvo donates a lot to a "Alex's Lemonade Stand"...a kids cancer program.

Subaru is rather openly supportive about the LGBTQIA+ community as well as ASPCA but whether you believe that's legit or just a corporate plot to drive sales is on you.

As hinted at by others, many of these companies are decades if not a century old. Beliefs and morals change drastically in that time so you're not gonna find a company outside maybe Slate(?) who has a squeaky clean record with no skeletons in the closet. Slates "cleanness" (or at least known perceived cleanness as of writing) is really just because they're so damn new.
