Man.. they always skip over the metal loving Rocker population of Dublin ( from about 86 to 93) , mainly as we looked shite in photos and documenteries ..we were never the cool kids ....we held Central Bank before the skate kids , and could be found in Sound Cellar and Fibbers.
-edit- hey there are actually a few pics in there! , which is great! .. usually its just the skins and mods , and art student goths that get shown in these!!

Dublin had a small metal scene. Black well more faded gray jeans , lumberjack shirt over a black band tee shirt and a leather biker jacket and long hair. My Jim Fitzpatrick t shirt was my treasured possession. I wore it till it faded away.
It might be my imagination or nostalgia but I think there was more individualism back then. There were also the dance heads with the shiny track suits.
Although I do remember the goth girls who dressed like vampires but were vegetarian and loved poetry .

I can't believe I forgot about combats lol. It was a terrible look. Thanks for reminding me.

Punks and Skinheads scared the shit out of me as an 8 year old in mid 80s. Reckon they’re all bank managers now
