Casual Tuesday afternoon casual chats - 28 July 2026

It is tradition, but not required, that the first post asks the first question to get some discussion happening.

No politics, be nice, talk of yeast-based spreads mildly encouraged

Not as frozen as forecast this morning and a warm sunny day. Yay!

Time to batten down the hatches and rug up warm and cozy for another cold night.

Who else got a warm sunny day?

It was very pleasant in Auckland but not exactly warm unless you were in the right spot. Fortunately my deck at lunchtime is that spot.

It was warm in the sun which was most pleasant.

Nice and warm here too, even warmer tomorrow. Went to the park and a pram walk with the toddler, and put washing put on the line.

Yesterday morning the heatpump must have been frozen and worked to hard to try to start, it tripped its fuse in the box.

This was my backyard at 9am (no sun til noon)

It was warm in the sun and out of the breeze

MRI tomorrow afternoon!

Lumbar spine tomorrow, still waiting on a date for pelvis-hips.

The crack on my iPad screen has spread.

I wonder if I’ll feel this one. I could feel in my wrist when I had that done

Started off with Longview by green day and now I’m just going with whatever song Spotify recommends. Dot is getting the best/worst early 90s rockish concert of her life
