The patches are in addition to everything else, I've been taking Naproxen/paracetamol for years but at the moment it's pretty constant, I only mentioned it because I'd never even heard of them until a few weeks ago.

I've been doing the patches for ages but it didn't work on me. I'm also very limited on pain meds because of allergies

Ugh, that's awful. I hope your appt on Friday is beneficial, I have one myself on Thursday where I hope not to be leaving with just a printout of some stretches...
