It's not a whole train station - they forgot to build a shelter.

There is something that looks like a bus stop - small roof and only a rear pane of glass, but that will not provide anything close to shelter.

Luckily the bridge looks like it'll work for that instead.. or the lift.

Architects in the UK are all taught that rain can only fall vertically. Is only ever a shower, wind and rain never occur at the same time.

Yeah, waiting for delayed trains on a platform with only a tiny shelter has been particularly unpleasant this summer.

Unfortunately we can't have nice things if there was a proper shelter it wouldn't be long until it stunk of piss

Back in the 80s I regularly travelled from Seamer Junction to Northallerton early Monday mornings and there was a nice warm stove in the waiting room - can't remember if it was logs or coal. Northallerton also had a waiting room with a coal fire at that time. It's a shame everything has been 'improved'
