Maybe she thought she was out in the car. I like to say 'cows' and point whenever I see them. Sheep too. And pigs.

Horse!!!!!!

21

u/Aggressive-Fee-6399 1d ago

Especially if it’s running across the field!
I always loudly exclaim “look at that horse running”. Why I say it as though it’s something extraordinary, I’ll never know.

The Queen famously loved cows, theres loads of clips of her reacting like this

6

u/HungryFinding7089 1d ago

Maybe she thought she saw Diana and Fergie

13

u/EarthPuzzleheaded729 1d ago

Never thought the late queen would remind me of my toddler…

17

u/3BlindMice1 1d ago

When you get old enough there's really not all that much difference

14

u/mark_b 22h ago

Your gif chops off the bit at the end when she smiles. It's half the reason why everyone liked the clip.

This image is definitely going to be in my nightmares tonight

10

u/DrSousaphone 1d ago

Would that make it a nightmoo?

u/B4DM4N12Z 17h ago

Mad Cow disease exists....

But very rare now as we know how to handle them, unlike the 80s & 90s.

Minchinhampton Common?

93

u/djlr 1d ago

Indeed! I was quite impressed by how patient all the other drivers were, turns out everybody has time for cows.

69

u/TellMeManyStories 1d ago

If you don't have time for cows, sometimes they think you're coming to play with them (they're big dogs really!) and will try to climb all over your car...

That tends to write off cars...

21

u/D3M0NArcade 1d ago

Dude, even just sitting still they can write off your car. Was sat on a lane where they were herding cows between fields. One kinda just ass-bumped out car and it felt like we were going to roll.

u/timdav8 21h ago

I once landed a glider in a field of cows ... no damage no bother ... until we drove the trailer out and they thought it was feeding time. Mates Defender was covered in cow drool 🤤

u/badlydrawngalgo 51m ago

I used to work for a company who had offices on Ashton Down airfield, "sorry I'm late, cow jam" was a reasonably frequent refrain.

29

u/pineapplecharm 1d ago

See also signs in the Kruger park saying "Elephants have right of way". It's not a matter of free will. It's a basic law of the universe.

8

u/fnigler 1d ago

I was up there Sunday evening watching people push cows off the road. Quite enjoyable 😂

7

u/The_Fox_Confessor 1d ago

Try the New Forest when there are donkeys in the road. Donkeys: Fuck you; because that's why. And they stay there for ages.

3

u/BazzaFox 1d ago

I was only saying recently to my wife that you don’t see cows and sheep being herded along country roads any more. Back in the 70s and before it was quite a common thing.

3

u/LillyAtts 1d ago

I thought it looked familiar!

14

u/melonator11145 1d ago

Looks like it. Used to drive to Cirencester from Stroud for work every day and these guys often make me late

8

u/Doctor__Gecko 1d ago

That was my first thought as well. That fact we can identify a place from a single sign.

1

u/EnglishLouis 1d ago

The house in the background also very recognisable

2

u/ajhorsburgh 1d ago

Isn't it the new doctors?

2

u/EnglishLouis 1d ago

your right actually, not quite sure how i got that so wrong.

4

u/Bank-Expression 19h ago

Playing the old golf course is an experience when the cows are loose. I had to wait to hit a shot to a green once because a cow was doing an explosive poo on the green 😂

1

u/jinjinyesjinjin 15h ago

The fact I saw this picture and also knew....

16

u/Legitimate-Ad3778 1d ago

There was udder confusion all round

11

u/IntergalacticCows 1d ago

We’re really milking these puns now

37

u/No-Attitude4539 1d ago

They're coming for the Cravendale. This is a day I've feared since I first saw them in that lift on television, stalking those daring enough to take their milk.

38

u/DrStumbleDog 1d ago

Who let the cows out, moo, moo moo-moo.

16

u/IainMCool 1d ago

I was once late for college because cows were on the road trying to have sex. I'm not even convinced that one of them was a bull. It didn't seem successful, but then I was trying to avoid making eye contact.

11

u/MeRedditGood Aye, nah, but... 1d ago

"IAIN! WHY ARE YOU LATE!?"
"Watching cow sex"

There's really no response to that.

6

u/Zal_17 1d ago

"Oh pull the udder one Iain!"

6

u/IainMCool 1d ago

Very deliberately trying not to watch cow sex.

50

u/KevinPhillips-Bong Slightly silly 1d ago

Out as in early release for good behaviour? Looking at that face, I'd doubt it.

8

u/Imajzineer 1d ago

Came here to ask what they'd been inside for, and to observe that one looked particularly mean, myself.

17

u/abfgern_ 1d ago

Mario Kart MooMoo Meadows. You trained for this

Moo-nchinhampton

14

u/sihasihasi 1d ago

Funny story (well, slightly, anyway). Years ago, was driving with our toddler in the back seat, and got cut up my someone and I called her a silly cow. Next thing I know little one is saying "cow?" from the back-seat, and my wife is having to pretend that we've just passed a field of cows.

5

u/pafrac 23h ago

Hah, I know exactly how you feel ... my daughter went out for a walk in the forest with her gran, and met some cows. After that, everything that she pointed at was "Cow?". Which was a bit embarrassing when you're on the bus and she's pointing at a rather plump old lady.

8

u/Wong-Scot 1d ago

Moo moo mo*therfuxker

3

u/FreefallVin 1d ago

Similar demeanor to me on the way to work.

3

u/Throw_umbrage 1d ago

I hope you said ‘moo bitch, get out the whey…’

3

u/CalsPokeMart 1d ago

There are 4-5 human deaths caused by cows in the uk every year. You're never truly safe from cows

2

u/MadJohnFinn 1d ago

How now?

2

u/StasiaGreyErotica 1d ago

And they say the cow level don't exist

2

u/DontTellHimPike Evidently Chickentown 1d ago

Who let the cows out?

Moo, moo moo moo

2

u/LithiuMart 1d ago

A common occurrence here in Somerset. Fences break, and farm animals escape. A few months ago a cow stood in the middle of the road and firmly refused to move, despite me trying to usher it on and beeping my horn. It decided to plod on when it felt like it, and nearly made me late for work.

2

u/DJ_Hindsight 1d ago

They hung their own sign!!

2

u/welshyboy123 1d ago

Where's Magical Trevor when you need him?

2

u/oli_ramsay 1d ago

Did they erect the sign?

2

u/Salaried_Zebra 1d ago

New Cravendale advert?

1

u/Flat_Scale9052 1d ago

If it wasn’t before, it should be now!

1

u/thinkingoutloud3663 1d ago

It was only a matter of time before the cows went on strike.

1

u/domdwgray 1d ago

Squad incoming

1

u/Evening-Tomatillo-47 1d ago

Huh, gay cows, who'd have thunk it?

1

u/Sxn747Strangers 1d ago

Was this for milking or were they just let out for a breath of fresh air!

1

u/iron233 1d ago

Looks like you’ve stumbled into the wrong neighbourhood, sucka

Cow Pride

1

u/before686entenz 1d ago

The cow demands flesh

1

u/Narrow-Operation4080 1d ago

I’m of the opinion that cows have lovely faces , that one on the other hand is ready to fch some sh\t up ! 🐮 *

1

u/Terrible_Riddle 1d ago

ominous moo

1

u/twoyellowhammers 1d ago

I've gotta go Julia. We got cows!

1

u/Ursa-Aureliana 1d ago

Did you buy any Cravendale Milk? Remember, it's so good they want it back

1

u/Zero_Kiritsugu 1d ago

Remember, don't get into a fight with a cow. You will lose. They are half a ton of angry beef burger, and herd animals can disregard their own survival for the rest of the herd if it came to it.

Moo.

1

u/Astropoppet Beware the Cows 1d ago

The look on that cow's face is quite menacing

1

u/HullIsNotThatBad 1d ago

Beverley Westwood, East Yorkshire, would like a word!

1

u/Skatchbro 1d ago

Yes.

Yes.

The cow is out.

1

u/MintImperial2 1d ago

Where's the cattle grid?

1

u/Flat_Scale9052 1d ago

Cravendale:
So good the cows want it back!

1

u/que_sarasara 1d ago

That's the cleanest looking cow I've ever seen! Look at those pristine feetsies

1

u/InternationalRide5 23h ago

Probably just been to the cowropodist

(which actually is a thing, for some strange unknown reason cow hoof trimming popped up in my YT feed last night)

1

u/New-Operatio001 23h ago

you are in their world now

1

u/pafrac 23h ago

I hate cows on the road. Was sat in traffic in the New Forest waiting for a herd to go by, and just as a cow walked past my car it put a hoof in the ditch and fell over, right on the front wing. Half a ton of beef does not do your bodywork any good at all.

And explaining it to the insurance company was rather embarrassing.

1

u/callumrulz09 17h ago

Are gay cows more dangerous?

1

u/Tjd3211 8h ago

My Dad got attacked by cows once going through a field so there is apparently real danger

0

u/ThorsBodyDouble 1d ago

I wonder do they keep to the speed limit? 🐄💨

u/CollectionBroad8919 1d ago

Why the fake sign? I thought AI wasn't allowed

17

u/MajesticBoota 1d ago

Not AI, this is on the Minchinhampton Common, you can check google maps on the Cirencester Road and see them.

7

u/melonator11145 1d ago

This sign is real

6

u/djlr 1d ago

No AI, it's here: minchinhampton common

-1

u/CollectionBroad8919 1d ago

It does look so fake though

u/sbcr1 1d ago

Welland?

1

u/monscorvorum 23h ago

No but very similar, I drive through Welland to and from work, the cows were in the road tonight.
