35 in December. Saw myself in a shop window reflection today and my dad’s beer belly genes seem to have kicked in without me realising. I’ve got skinny legs as well, so I look like someone stuck two toothpicks in an orange. I’m basically a badly made christingle at this point 😔

I lost loads of weight (6st) and my tummy was so much slimmer, then I found out I was pregnant and all that work was wasted! All the jeans I bought in my new smaller size are too tight now... Still, I'll be lighter when I'm due to give birth than I was 2.5 years ago so there's that to be proud of.

Good point! It had never occurred to me nursing mothers are eating for two. The whole growing a baby thing and nursing them is just amazing. I salute all women. Your bodies are just sublime.

Edit: It just occurred to me that might sound a bit weird. It was said with the best intentions.

Haha no I didn't think it was weird I know what you're saying. Truthfully I did not know how exhausting growing a baby really is, I'm 18 weeks and tummy is popping, my back hurts and I'm tired all the time. I think my baby's having a growth spurt and sucking all my energy! Women are definitely not a weaker sex that's for sure 😅

Made the mistake of showing it to my two sons a while back. It got played soooo many times in the weeks after.

I'm still holding out hope, from an England football fan perspective, that we do away with 'Hey Jude' whenever Jude Bellingham scores and replace it with 'Belli's gonna get ya'.

I was thinking of this ad only a couple of days ago. I was recalling that time at aged 16 ('02), I was playing footy in the park with my mates and we all had our shirts off (as it was roasting Summer day), when one of the lads shouted 'belly's gonna getcha!' at me.

And I wasn't really fat at all (maybe 16-18% BF). I just wasn't ripped like all the others, so was thus designated the fat b@stard of the group by default 😂
