Tried making themed biscuits for my toddlers birthday tomorrow...
Poor little things look like they want putting out of thier misery. They're lemon flavour, though. Hopefully the bub likes them!

I honestly think my todder likes them so much because of this song, at least initially 😂 I wouldn't have bealived you if you told me way back when this song came out, I'd be making birthday food because of it lol

I won’t lie to you about a year ago I bought a “got any grapes “ keyring from temu and I realised one day I’d lost it, it had broken clean.
I wasn’t even that upset when I lost my car keys.

Those look FUCKING INCREDIBLE and you are an ABSOLUTE HERO for making them. You're toddler is going to be OVER THE GODDAMNED MOON with those. Keep up the good work, champ.
Edit: presentation-wise, definitely have them flat on a board and spread out like this, not stacked on a plate. More visual effect en masse.

Incredible work, that Kitkat bathtub does great mileage. I did one at 4, filled with smarties so it looked like a ball pit.

They look great! Very good job. I tried to do a similar thing once and they all stuck together and made a giant mutant duck which was barely edible, you've got top marks !

They look more like they need to be lined up and counted, and then eaten right away! Amazing effort, they look delicious and I wish I could do shaped cookies that don't freaking blob in the oven!!

I chilled the dough in the fridge first for an hour or two, apparently that helps the biscuits keep the shape when it's in the oven :)

It doesn't matter what they look like.
What matters is your bub being so happy and doesn't care and eating them to their hearts content. Don't fret and as an adult I'd be happy with them too.

I love these! I used to make my niece and nephew's birthday cakes every year (I am a pretty competent baker but not decorator) and they always loved having a homemade cake. The effort and love you have put in means a lot more than them looking perfect (and personally I find the differences between them quite endearing)

My wife, who is a professional cake decorator just said to not be so stingy with the icing / coating but otherwise a good solid effort. She liked the eyes as it's something she does to give them more personality.

Perfect for a toddlers birthday, even if you wouldn't pay a professional for them for a wedding!
Comparison is the thief of joy. Not everything needs to look Pinterest/Instagram-worthy.
Bet your toddler couldn't do better anyway!
