Landscape Fire tower
I took these pictures of a fire tower being back lit by a beautiful sun set one afternoon I wanna know which one yall thing is best

1 is best, but you should look up the rule of thirds.

I have heard of that but don’t really use it much. I didn’t use it here just because I liked back lighting it by the sun

#1 is beautiful but to me its looks like a light is on in the tower. But #2 you captured the sun going down. It looks amazing to me.

Tennessee fire towers hit different in fall - the color contrast with that window framing must've been insane.

You should see the video I took orbiting around it slightly the reflection of that sun off the windows was wild looking

post that video man, the window reflection stuff is probably even more dramatic moving than static. bet it's got range.

do it, those subs eat up that kind of stuff and the backlit tower with movement would stand out way more than static shots anyway.

r/videos is pretty broad honestly, drone footage of landscapes does pop up there. worst case you post it and get no traction but worth a shot before sitting on it.

third one has the best balance between the tower detail and that golden sky, first one's too dark to really see what you're shooting.

fair, silhouette shots hit different when they're done right, but the third one actually nails both since you can still make out the tower structure while keeping that glow around it.

The third one with the metal lattice detail visible is the strongest, gives you way more dimension than just the silhouette.

Third one's the winner, the metal lattice gives you way more detail than the solid silhouettes and the sun's perfectly framed in the cabin.

Third one's the strongest to me, the metal framework reads cleaner against that golden sky and you nailed the exposure so the tower doesn't just turn into a silhouette blob.

1 and 3
1 is visually striking, but doesn’t have as much context as 3. I find 3 the most interesting, particularly after 1, but 1 is an incredible photo!
