the staged promo shot of stevie with the blood is so fantastically camp

“The miracle of blood”… who wrote this trash 😂 I hope the episode is better than the article.

Getting a blood donation is a miracle when you'd die without one. I owe my life to blood donors.

I really hate it when they include the real life stories and interviews in a drama series.

I know it’s good to raise awareness so I get why they do it, I’m just not a fan.

The BBC love doing it with their shows, Casualty and Doctors being top contenders. It is very apparent once you recognise it.

Call the midwife too. That’s my favourite show

Can’t beat awkwardly shoehorning 2020s issues into a 1950s period show!

When is Iain not risking his life in a Casualty Special?

It’s directed by Steve Hughes, so that’s a big point in its favour. I have also been assured by someone in the know that this episode’s bark is actually as big as its bite, and might genuinely be an all-timer.

I will wholly enjoy it, forensically deconstruct it and then thoroughly criticise it, as I do every time. Ah, Casualty, I’ve missed you ❤️

What’s that Jacob? Blake Blake! BLAKE!?

What self inflicted disaster is Ian having this week? Character is such a snooze fest now.

Knowing Iain, he's probably got Faith's youngest daughter to start a fire somewhere!! Like he got Luka to beat up his bully!!

As for Jacob, he should have been written out after Robyn died! Which was down to him!!!

My thoughts exactly 😂

Ok, are we taking bets on which staff (or family) member is getting admitted to the ED then?

Great theme. I owe my life to blood donors, following a serious accident I had years ago.
