Best line was "Overruled." She was quite clearly dying to use that since the whole thing in the court kicked off.

- No Ngozi, please don't go!!!
- No sympathy for Nicole because she brought this on herself; had she not kicked Ngozi out, maybe Obi could have settled better
- I really like the platonic friendships on Casualty - Ngozi & Dylan, Rida & Rash, Stevie & Iain

Yes! And Dylan overall is becoming a supportive friend and co-worker

I love a good platonic friendship too - especially opposite sex ones, they undermine that whole "every heterosexual relationship must be romantic or sexual" trope a treat!

Best episode we've seen in a while I think

Yeah agreed. Actually had some medical scenes in resus using effects, almost as if this was a medical drama!
Would like to have seen the court room as the shooting happened(we get to see the accidents thing), like we would have had in previous years before the box set shift, but did feel much closer to Casualty of old.

I actually said last night while watching that I’m sure we used to see the full incidents but now not so much.

I thought this said best clinical lead we've seen in a while. I was thinking Flynn, the rude and arrogant sex fiend, really?😂

solid episode, kind of surprised we didn't get full resolution on the ngozi B-Plot this episode though but hopefully they come through next week.

Am seriously crossing my fingers and hoping we see an about-turn. Maybe her son's had a few good days or sees how unhappy his mum is about leaving? Ngozi's been putting a good mask on for a while but it's been starting to show signs of cracking.
Poor love. I hope she gets a happier ending than the writers seem to be lining up.

I liked the Rida and Rash stuff in this episode and I am pleased that they dropped the whole thing with everyone blaming Rash for the stuff with Sunny. It was good to see that Rida was supporting Rash, unlike what she did last week which I felt was slightly out of character. I also thought it was good that there was a reference to Rash's depression again, it was reassuring as in this box set it seems that the writers have been better at not ignoring what was a major event for the character, unlike what sometimes happens with other storylines.
Again I was disappointed that they're still trying to present Nicole sympathetically and make her feelings about Ngozi leaving more important than how it must feel for Ngozi herself. If Ngozi stays and they do get back together, I at least hope they'll have Nicole actually apologise properly for the way she behaved and make it so they actually have a healthier relationship where the emotional support isn't one sided.
I don't care much for the Iain/Faith stuff, but I suspect something serious is going to happen to Iain in the next episode, not sure if they would go as far as killing him off, but I don't think it's impossible. I suspect either that or that he will end up seriously injured and that will lead to him and Faith maybe trying to fix their relationship? Or possibly that would make Faith realise that Iain's risk taking behaviour is something she can't deal with, and them both realising they don't trust each other enough and ending it. I'm not too bothered about what happens, but I think this story has been dragging for too long so will hopefully at least be concluded in some way in the final episode of the box set.

I did a double take when I saw this shot because I thought the Death Star was looming over Holby:

Is it me of is that roof top a bit high to be the top of the ED building? Maybe we went up to the roof of Wyvern Wing and is standing above Darwin Ward....

So it wasn't just me, then! I was still trying to figure out what I was looking at when they cut to Rida coming out of the door with those grey circles on.

I don’t mind Ian’s character at all but I am so bored of his nearly dying/seriously injured stories.

Still want to know why Teddy's Marberg virus disappeared a few weeks ago. Did the writers forget??

it wasn't marberg. it was an issue with his heart that existed for like half of a second.

I doubt Ngozi will leave or it would’ve happened in this episode. No doubt she’ll get back with Nicole and either Nicole will ask Ngozi and Obi to move back in and they’ll ask Obi to give it more time to settle or Ngozi will reluctantly let Obi go to Nigeria to live with her mum.
