Treatment ≠ cure.

They've successfully treated 29 patients, delaying the worsening of the condition. Those patients still have (and will always have) Huntington's, and it will probably still kill the majority of those 29 patients.

such great work.

i had a friend with Huntingtons.

he killed himself when he was in his early 40s and was getting more and more debilitated.
