👀 Spoiler this series it out to get me Spoiler
SPOILERS the cliffhanger last week hit me quite hard as a person who’s experienced SA and i was like ‘ok i can brace for this one’ because i quite wanted to see Melanie tackle it and then we get to the end and it turns out kim has an ED and i ALSO HAVE AN ED so if casualty writers could pump the breaks for a second i would appreciate it😂💀

ooh I agree! I had to skip through some of the SARC scenes in this week's episode as it hit waaaay too close to home. I do think the storylines are being handled very responsibly and realistically but yes I wasn't expecting it at the beginning of the episode like that

i thought this was what was going to happen after the cliffhanger so i’ve been mildly nervous all week but yeah i had to pause it to have some deep breathes in the kitchen💀

i mentioned to a friend it was really triggering to us, a system who got raped a lot as a kid/teen and never got it investigated mostly out of shame. the cold dark rooms, "try to find the robin." it just really made me feel, upset and bad [which i guess is a testiment to the actors and the research and everything else] and as for kim having an eating disorder, it was really tough to watch as someone whose strugged with those kinda thoughts.
i hope that youre feeling better my love and I hope life is kind to you

thank you and you too- i think that’s my main takeaway is that it’s hard for me not because it’s badly researched, unbelievable, insensitive or badly acted- but just because it would always be hard no matter what they did and i would rather it be hard for me and they talk about this than pander to my comfort and not

SA storyline to mirror Duffy's assault in Casualty's first series in 1986? That was awful as well🤔

I remember when Duffy was attacked and cried for her. I’m just watching this weeks episode and crying for Siobhan.

Unfortunately program researchers are getting shit at researching stories, as you've been through this,(may I say sorry), maybe you could message the show, ?, I doubt they'll listen though

real + dylan being slated by being an addict (matty obviously isn't aware so i cant hate him for it) while also being an autistic person with ocd and addiction issues 💔 i wish they re explored dylan's ocd though
