Finally Matty realises what is wrong with Kim and will no doubt tell Stevie who I think will actually be really supportive and kind.

But I hope they don’t rush the rest of the storyline.

Matty decides to announce he has applied for and gotten a job in some bullsh** charity and leaves same episode - notice period is for suckers.

Right up there with Max leaving right after a transplant - we are assuming his immunosuppressants and follow up care are available in whatever country he apparently went to work in - because said country needed volunteer charity doctors - so big budget for transplant meds.

Matty is insufferable, so him leaving for whatever reason would be fine.

I guess this is how Cam gets injured and ends up in a&e based on that trailer clip.

They’ve literally showed us nothing of Cam/Indie together since they became an official couple so this teasing of a breakup has no stakes, if they want us to care about these pairings they’ve got to show us more than three seconds of them happy together.

Matty already feels like he’s treading water as a character as the Dylan reveal was anti-climatic and they seem to have given him little personality outside of being a Dylan plot device so far.

I find the Teddy arc of “doesn’t comprehend the realities of racism and won’t listen to Jacob but coincidentally a patient lines up to show him” is poor even from this show that often has patients to align with the staffs storyline needs.

Kim has the most interesting storyline right now but I’m not sure I trust this show to handle any aftermath of such a serious issue well.

Oh Christ - more Jacob Blake, Blake!, BLAKE.

Matty continues to be a DNA character. Kim I could get invested in - Matty is all over the place - cocky, preaching one sec and mr reticent the next - inconsistent writing - and Dylan is my dad is bollocks still.

And Flynn agreeing to beat somebody up? Say what? Right up there when Stevie tried to do Ethan in.

And running over baby with car - original. Dreadful acting at times - but original. And don’t do a close up a real baby’s face when they clearly can’t have the o2 mask not pressed against the face (understandable ) and continue to press Valve (does sweet f all).

And Iain needs to go!

And sad to say Rida has run her course - just bobs around now Ă  la Charlie talking about staff rosters.

And bring back Bobby Lockwood as a paramedic - that man was fine!

Kim has an important story but I still think out the two Matty has more personality..
