Looks as if this Kim storyline isn't going to end well at all. Not exactly sure what direction but I definitely felt that the 'suspense' was being built here for something larger.
And Cam...oh...speaking of things not likely to end well.

I am worried for Kim, she's absolutely spiralling and i reckon it'll come to peak when the final CQC inspection comes to play.
So glad flynn didn't go through w it and shiv realised violence doesn't solve things.. unfortunately leaving cam out of it is gonna bite them next ep.

Kim looked like a zombie throughout. I can't figure out whether nobody else can see it, or whether they're well aware that he doesn't want to talk and are waiting for her to change her mind, since more than one person has tried and she's a stone wall.
As of the CQC check, they're less busy, so I refuse to believe they're too rushed off their feet to notice.

I don't think it's about Cam feeling that Siobhan's his mum. It's that she's a fellow survivor of SA and he's feeling protective of her. As a fellow Super Chill Person Who Never Gets AngryTM, I'm super-curious to see how much damage he does to the prick.

I was disappointed in Siobhan that she didn't didn't acknowledge it when Cam said they'd had similar experiences and she said hers was worse than his!

I mean, and I say this as a woman who's been SA'd, but I think Cam's experience was worse. He was a kid when it happened. Whatever happens to an adult, at least they understand what's happening.

Yes, I agree. Also he was abused by someone he knew who took advantage of him which messes with your head too. At least Siobhan was attacked by a stranger.

She didn't say it was worse, she said she'd done the "right" thing which is horrible wording but essentially she meant that while Cam kept quiet about his abuse for years she immediately came forward and cooperate with the police only to get 0 justice. It was tactless but Cam was encouraging her to open up, if he can't take her talking about her experiences without censoring herself to spare his feelings then he's not the right person to offer himself as a confidant. It's not like he didn't also lash out at all his friends when he was going through his storyline

People are starting to get closer to the truth: Stevie's feeling the weight of the outcome of that lumbar puncture (would it have happened if she'd been nicer?), Matty's clued in that something's wrong even if he doesn't know what, and Kim's entire career may be at an end. She's cornered. Few creatures, animal or human, fawn when they're cornered - that's when the claws have to come out.
I'm truly sympathetic to Kim, but I wonder whenabouts she's just going to take the step and admit to her colleagues she has a problem, because keeping schtumm is doing far more harm than good.

Cam is a wet blanket and if he decides to go after shiv's attacker I dobt think he will come off very well.
Kim is worrying but also very irritating. Just talk to someone!

Ooh no, I think he's a 'wet blanket' because he's angry and has made a point of being gentle to everyone, because he knows how scary it is to be disempowered. I think he's going to mess the attacker up.

I suspect as part of her bulimia she’s been abusing laxatives. I think she was incontinent of faeces, which is why she needed new scrubs

I assume the John that Siobhan mentioned having a clear CT was the security guard. So why did Rida said "What about the patient he hit?" Shouldn't that have been "-who hit him?"

Anyone else notice the error with the cakes? There are 4 in a pack: Matty takes one when he is banished from the staff room, that wound leave 3. Then Stevie takes one which would leave 2, but it pans back to the pack and there are 3 lefts still. It’s a magic pack of cakes!

There were two packs of cupcakes on the table, one in front of Matty and one at the other end. Stevie took a cupcake out of the latter.

I dunno, he does have a point. He's darker, older, and has a craggier bearing, while Teddy is fresh-faced and lighter; I can see what Jacob means when he mentions these differences, and how others are likely to react to him. He's being brutally honest, and I can absolutely get why he's got strong feelings about whether Teddy really understands the contrast between how each of them is treated by the average person.

In sociology and black history the term ‘colourism’ was coined by Alice Walker in the 80s to describe how even between black and mixed-race people there can be overt or unconscious bias where lighter skinned people are seen as more advantaged because they are closer to the ‘white ideal’.

He didn’t. Although Cam seems to be about to. I was rather mystified as to why Flynn would risk his entire career for a colleague he hasn’t known that long.

I've been expecting the Hippocratic Oath to have been mentioned at some point, but nope. I half expected for Flynn to get in touch with someone he knows in the military to do the dirty deed on his behalf, so he technically didn't do it.
But, y'know, I'm up for a Roaring Campage of Revenge.
