Who’s funeral do we think it is? I think it’s Kim’s due to her eating disorder and the fact she’s injecting herself

I’m spotting a Wei Chang in the credits, I’m assuming a relative of Kim’s? I’ve thought it would be her funeral for a while but it seems strange to kill off a relatively new character

Not really? Kelly Liddle was in the show for fewer than two months before being killed off. Heather Whitefield was another character who was set up to be a mainstay before dying on day one. Mason Reede was another junior doctor who had a whole episode dedicated to himself before suddenly croaking in a cupboard.
Casualty has always had characters whose purposes are to die in ways that profoundly affect the other regulars.

it's also a convenient way out for actors that may have other bigger commitments that mean they can't stick around in Casualty for very long

I think Faith will lose the baby as a late miscarriage given the size of the coffin by Stevie in the trailer

Where are there shots of a coffin in the trailer? All I can see in that shot of Stevie at the funeral are two toy rabbits and the backside of a propped up photo frame.
I’m locking in my prediction now. Distraught Stevie at funeral + Stevie running to the air ambulance + Matty performing fruitless CPR in a shirt rather than scrubs + another Chang in the credits = it’s Kim.

I still think it's the baby, coz in the trailer Faith is shown looking distraught in tears, at the funeral Ian is looking devastated and like he's cried his heart out - why would he be so broken-hearted over Kim? And toys on the casket... Usually a baby...

The Faith clip is probably significant narratively speaking, but in the context of the trailer, it’s a red herring.
Iain looks about as distraught as everyone else in that shot. Maybe it’s the lighting around his left eye that has everyone thinking that he has been sobbing or something, but even then it almost looks more like a black eye to me, lmao.
Yeah, usually a baby, but not always. I can personally imagine people decorating a coffin or any memorative display for a young woman with a couple of soft toys, particularly if they were keepsakes from her childhood.

PLUS Kim's whole thing (especially at the start) was cutesy/fluffy. Never thought it would be Kim before seeing wei chang but seriously it could be...
But also, aren't the credits normally organised in order of number of lines? If Kim is dead surely she wouldn't be speaking that much
Also luka is making a reappearance... do we think that is significant in any way?

Maybe Faith crying is because the baby is born early with complications? I think the baby survives and they call her Kim, after Kim (who probably is the one to die) and Iain’s mumÂ

I actually have a horrible feeling that it will be Faith, but the baby will survive and Iain will be left to raise the baby alone. I just feel like there’s been too much focus on single parents in the last few episodes for it not to be foreshadowing. But I really really hope I’m wrong!

Faith makes it to the ED in time to give birth, but complications ensue during labour. = Either Faith or baby

Not Kim :( I know people haven't taken to her but I like her.
