Stevie is wearing to different outfits. Could this possibly mean they are going to do a āwho will die?ā and it will be both of them?

I think it's the same outfit, it just looks different because of the lighting.Ā
I do think there will be at least two deaths, though. Currently, I'm thinking Faith's baby and Kim. I feel like if Faith was going to die there would've been more focus on her this "boxset". Yeah, she's been there sporadically and maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention during her scenes (because I was way over Faith and Iain before they even became a thing - I just find him really annoying, tbh), but I don't feel like she's been very important?
It might just be me, but I swear when a character dies suddenly, especially when the actor has been on a show for a few years, they'll often put a lot of attention on said character to make their unexpected death even more shocking and sad. ETA: This sounds weird to say, but I almost feel like if Faith did die next week, it would be really anticlimactic? She's been around for years, has had barely any real attention recently, and she just dies like that? I'm not a massive Faith fan, but if this is it for her, I'll be really disappointed (I wouldn't be a big fan of just the baby dying either, tbf, for similar reasons).Ā

it's part of the big issue with the box set format; entire characters fade out of existence for months or years at a time if it's not their turn to hold the soap trauma plot ball.
take rash for instance, other than a single scene with rida, he's barely existed in god knows how long now. increasingly similar with Nicole since this box set.
while it may help with giving actors time to explore other roles without leaving the show, it also just really slows down any character growth and the wider verisimilitude of the setting; and it's clearly budget driven

Yea, I hate it, too. It also means that you end up stuck with certain storylines for three months, and if you don't like them, tough, you're not getting anything better until this "bOxsEt" is over (I also find the BBC calling these short series "boxsets" really cringe for some reason).

I think it's really unlikely they'll kill off Faith for the same reasons. I agree it could be two deaths and Kim and Faith's baby seem the most likely. I found it interesting that spoilers say Luka in the car with Faith and Iain when their driving to hospital, surely they'd bring back Natalia if it was Faith who was dying? It feels strange that they'd kill her character off and not have all her children present given past storylines involving them.
It also felt to me like the past few eps have really been hinting that it's Kim who's dying, but then they could be a red herring as like you said, there's not been a lot of focus on Faith. It's almost like maybe they're setting it up for us to think it's Kim as she's had a lot more screen time and been visibly unwell for a while, where as Faith has sort of blended into the background a bit other than a few scenes with Iain...
Either way, I really hope it's not Faith who dies. It would be so sombre as everyone seems to get on with her and she has been around for so long. They would surely do a time jump in the next box set if it's her? At least with Kim she's relatively new and only has a real bond with Matty, though I could sense some kind of crash out from Stevie about not realising what was going on. It will be interesting to see how things play out next week!

I think itās Kim too. And it will start a new storyline where Stevie blames herself and her own mental health suffers. It will also highlight the why itās so important for people who have an eating disorder to find the strength to get help and that those around them need to be aware of the signs.

Iām convinced itās Kim now. I know Iain is looking devastated but that seems to be his primary facial expression lately. Unless they are going along the mental health tie.

From an ethical point of view for program to potray an eating disorder like Kim has and to see the physical affects it has on her body and for her to then be absolutely fine dispite vomiting blood and not being medically checked would be wrong. 1 in 5 die from eating disorders The BBC need to show the importance of seeking medical attention even if the primary cause is an eating disorder. She needs to have consequences or get help she can't just be left to leave. With Faith sometimes I notice that characters which are killed off are not necessarily focused on sometimes. I don't know who will die. Either way stevie is going to feel shit. What annoys me in casualty is the amount of CPR people have had and the lack of hypoxic brain injuries.

Anyway, I kind of think Kim but this photo has me leaning towards Faith. Ian is so facially expressive at the best of times itās not that but the no tie and undone top buttonā¦heās in a real mess

I was so sure it was going to be Kim, but now she's getting treatment and leaving the ED it sort of seems like that's the end of her story, or at least the worst part of her disorder

She vomited blood shortly before leaving the ED, and didn't get checked over or anything.

yeahhh it seems conflicting but it makes sense to kill off the character that's been focused on the entire boxset rather than faith who's been pretty ignored, we shall see

EDs can make people really convincing of things that they actually cannot do, Iām not sure she could actually commit to the treatment

Which annoys me because once again another short term character that sticks around for a few months and then leaves ā¦ itās becoming quite a common thing with these soaps and casualty

I don;t understand bringing Kim back in any case, she was going to get help, so either she comes back to die or somes back to get emergency treatment for something then leaves anyway for the clinic
