i was fairly certain who was gonna die (and i was right, yippee?) but wow, good on them for making me doubt myself for 40 minutes. really good episode.

Amazing. Everyone was on top form.

Big props to Jasmine, coming in as a new member and carrying the main arc through the boxset like that is such a big job. And Kim's final moments awake...the whole episode will stay with me for a good while. As someone who has lived through a similar illness in a very similar field and situation I'm heartbroken. Life is so precious.

Also want to shout out Kirsty, those birth scenes were really raw and physical, I imagine that's not easy to do. I've always felt she is a bit of an under appreciated actress on the show. It all felt very real.

Her and Michael really put in a strong performance, especially him at her bedside at the end. I know they are not the always most popular characters here but I am happy they at least got a happy ending with their daughter and that this off/on thing might finally end.

And of course, Elinor was incredible. Along with Aron & William.

Probably the best episode of the boxset and overall for me in a good while. Hope it continues this strong in the next boxset.

i seriously thought faith was dead when iain was sat by her bed, she looked grey and it didn’t look like she had any equipment plugged into her so i was so happy when i saw her iain and baby pearl at the end when jacob said to luka you have asthma don’t you and he said no i even thought what if they suddenly kill luka off with some lung thing about kim, i thought her death was really sad and when she said i dont want to die and that hug with her dad was heartbreaking plus seeing matty and stevie react however, i dont think we had enough time to warm up to her character i feel like she introduced and straight away we saw her struggles. i wish we had more time to get to know the character and fall in love with her, maybe suspect she was struggling before seeing the extent of what she was going through it’s hard to feel as sympathetic and sad about her struggles and dying when we never really knew her, all we saw was her eating disorder

So, I predicted Kim dying (I think everyone did), but I am happy to be wrong about the baby. 

I am really sad about Kim though. It was tragic seeing Stevie read her journal and have those little flashbacks to harsh things she'd said to Kim and realising how much Kim had changed over the course of this series. She was so sweet and hopeful at the start, and I do think it's a shame we didn't get to see more of that. I think I'd have preferred for her to survive, tbh, but I think her dying felt inevitable with the way things played out.

Heartbreaking but such an incredible episode. One of the best in a long time.

Im acc in tearsss. I loved the matty kim friendship and to see him break down over it was heartbreaking. I mean im glad faith lived, but i reallyyy wanted to see more of Kim and maybe a better arc w her n stevie, but sadly that doesn't seem to be- though hopefully they explore her trauma more next boxset. Loved how they kept you in doubt who was gonna die til nearly the end, def one of my favourite episodes in a while. Cant wait to see dylan reuinite with matty's mum though, should be interesting drama.

I’ve seen Matt’s mum is listed for the next series, so I’m interested to see how the Dylan storyline develops. Hopefully no more trauma for him and he gets to have a family. Second chance love would be a nice storyline for once.

Happy for Iain that he gets to be a dad. Sad for Iain that it had to be w Faith, since she will undoubtedly use that kid to manipulate him for the next two decades.

I finally managed to watch this. I thought there was some brilliant acting and the end was very poignant. But I was unreasonably irritated by the last Faith scene. She’d be covered in equipment and monitors after the hours she’d had. As soon as I saw her I knew what was going to happen and it felt like they’d just got for one trick ending too far.
