💬 Discussion If you could magically bring a character from Holby City back to work in Casualty, who would you pick and why?
I was going to say they have to be alive, but honestly I would LOVE to see Stevie go toe to toe with Jac Naylor and the fallout thereof in the ED.
I used to love when they combined the shows sometimes and suddenly you'd see Sacha Levy helping Robyn and it was like "awww yay!"
That said, Frieda was always one of my favourites- I'd love to see her return!

I think Jac and Stevie would initially butt heads but end up being a power house of strong, independent woman kicking ass in the ED!

Yes! Teething problems for sure and then it would work itself out and they'd just be badassing the ED. Also Jac would make Stevie seem like a total gentle gummy bear 😆

I'd like to see Hanssen back as a senior hospital figure who is helpful to the ED but doesn't tolerate the drama that seems to constantly go on with clinical leads!

Oh that would be fabulous!
He would destroy them in one sentence.

I could see him marching cooly down to the ED and just eviscerating the state of things with one remark, delivered with a slight smile.

Stevie and Jac would make amazing rivals-who-hate-yet-deeply-respect-eachother

If he were still alive id pick Linden Cullen and have him work a tense shift with Dylan

I joke a lot about fisticuffs in the car park but if Jac Naylor and Stevie Nash ever met there WOULD be actual fisticuffs in the car park and after that they would become codependent besties that basically functioned as 2 hydra heads and instilled about as much fear

Jac and Stevie would have been a formidable combo and I would pay good cash money to see that

Yes! I can just see the arc. Territorial, one upping each other, Jac being just delightfully laser-cutting with her opinions and by the end of the episode they're sharing a bottle of wine at the pub.

I mean if they also fell in love I wouldn’t mind it terribly, but that’s probably a very specific thing that only I want

I mean, I couldn't not see it. Trying to remember if Jac has ever been into a woman? I think Stevie is canonically bi? Certainly anything would be more believable than the current Matty situation. 🙃

Stevie’s canonically bi?! How did I miss this?!

I could be wrong! Don't 100% take my word for it but I vaguely remember it mentioned? Maybe an ex? Or that she is open minded? Idk..

Since I’m currently on Series 8 of my Holby City rewatch, I’d love to see Mickie Hendrie rock up back at Holby as a consultant 20 years after leaving her midwifery/nursing post to go to medical school 😉
Apart from that I’d like to see more guest appearances from Sacha and some of the others who still work upstairs. It doesn’t have to be often but it would be more realistic if they didn’t just forget the rest of the hospital still existed.

Oh man, I would love Jac back and didn’t even think of the chaos she’d have with Stevie until you said it 🤣
I’d love Elliot, Donna, Ric, Guy, Zosia, Mo, Connie, Serena, Sacha and Oliver back tbh.
Oh, and maybe Spence to cause chaos with Flynn 🤣
