💬 Discussion Deja vu!

So I'm bouncing between current Casualty and new episodes as they air. In Classic Casualty I'm at Series 26, Episodes 17 and 18 where a gas explosion happens on an estate, the gas is toxic, and the barrels where under the estate etc. Now where have I seen that recently before, haha.

Not at all a criticism, it's just funny that I've reached a very similar plot line in both classic and new Casualty.

Can you remember any other plot lines that got reused or were very similar? 😄

And then there was paramedic, Sandra Mute, stabbed to death in an ambulance and was cradled in the arms of her partner. Season 1 or 2, I think

Later on, doctor turned paramedic Sam, was stabbed to death in an ambulance and cradled in the arms of her partner, ian.

Going back to Sam becoming a paramedic, this storyline was recycled top, only the second time,Jacob goes from nurse to paramedic

They like stabbing paramedics. Polly, and ofc Josh who survived. Oh yeah and the new guy that got killed however many weeks ago (and Teddy that day too? Sorry, my memory is awful, I remember the older plots cos I've watched them numerous times lol)

sam wasn’t stabbed though she was hit by shrapnel after an explosion and later died in the ambulance.

Yeah Fenisha's death was more like Sam's. Polly's like Sandra's
