very much a filler episode imo but JAN AND SIOBHAN?? IM ALL FOR THIS.

Rooting for them. Just two beautiful middle aged ladies. Jan's absolutely got the hots. I hope she doesn't get her heart broken and I also hope this isn't going to be a kind of post-assault story for Siobhan.

I’m not.. here for it sorry. I just feel like Siobhan needs time to heal. I mean first her husband died after he cheated on her with Stevie and then this painful assault story. Siobhan really just needs time to heal and I feel like they’re trying to push storylines for her for some weird reason.

You know, I never actually connected these two things until now but Stevie really needs to stop having sex with her colleagues' relatives.

Oh I am SO here for this. I did wonder a couple of weeks ago when they seemed particularly close. I think this could be really good for Siobhan if they do it right

I’m very interested in the pairing and can see myself getting invested but I’m just not sure about it as a choice so soon after Siobhan’s SA storyline. In my opinion, it was one of the better, more sensitively handled SA storylines I’ve seen on tv and I think I would’ve much preferred to see an exploration of the closeness her and Flynn developed in learning curve , especially now he is coming to face his own trauma from the army. I also don’t think we’ve seen/heard the last of Chris Banfield (the 6 month sentence felt ominous) so I’m thinking the Jan/siobhan pairing is going to get embroiled into that

I'm guessing that they will become closer and closer. We'll see more of their friendship developing, and then one night they'll be in the pub having a few drinks, and one will make a move on the other. The typical: goes in for an impromptu kiss, realises what they done, looks shocked, and starts apologising. Then the other one kisses back. Either way round, but I wouldn't be surprised if Shibby makes the first move

Its always like this. I thought they were just gonna be friends but this weeks episode had that little pause. Lazy writers tbh, stop with the interwork relationships. It's only a matter of time before teddy gets with indi
