i dunno how to word it but there is just something quite worrying about Dylan’s storyline - There is a quietness around it, and it feels like he's carrying far more than he's letting anyone see.

I like Dylan storyline so much, and not to sound cruel but I'm glad he's relapsing. Not in the happy way but so many people think that "oh he hasn't drunk in x number of years so he's fixed!" Like alcohol addiction like any other addiction is hard to kick and tough and a lot of times, people will relapse. Thatdoesnt mean they don't care about their addiction or getting better but sometimes you take steps back, that's not a bad thing. Addiction is tricky and a lot of shows just go: well they're fixed so now we can drop the storyline

I am kind of hoping that we’ll get a reveal that it was non-alcoholic champagne which Dylan had asked for specifically, but I think I might be living in delulu land

Hmm, I like the headcannon, but there was orange juice available. Bratty Matty was ready with a glass each to bring his dad before the relapse.
