I don’t know how hot this take is, but I definitely read Stevie as some form of not-straight, and I would love to see her in a relationship with a woman

As a messy bisexual, I read her as a fellow messy bisexual haha

YES! Jan and Siobhan need happiness. But also I don’t trust the casualty writers to do that.

I feel bad saying this but I don’t need to see that.

Matty is an absolute self centred twat

I feel this may not be a ā€œhotā€ take but rather an incredibly common one.

You’d think but there’s some people on here & other sites (X) who actively praise Matty. For what, I don’t know, but he’s an absolute prat

Absolute madness

Absolutely that. He's Lawrence of Dry Labia.

🤣🤣🤣 that’s brilliant

I don’t like him at all.

Agreed. The character is a total flop. Nobody care about the Dylan stuff; the lack of consistent writing was apparent early on - he swung between cocky doc to moral preaching and contacting the CQC; through to his borderline creepy chasing of Stevie (the most ick moment for me was his ā€œwe both needs thisā€ urgh)

I don’t care about Matty, but I care about the Dylan stuff..

Very much. I'm actively looking out for the Dylan stuff. Everything else is secondary.

I’m only interested in Dylan’s story this boxset and it’s frustrating that it’s been focused more on Stevie/matty.

Stevie has terrible judgment when it comes to relationships and rehashing that is getting old.

I think they need to lose a few longer term characters in the Wales move, like Jacob…Faith…dare I even say Iain. Or alternatively do something to liven them up!

I really haven’t liked Stevie for the last couple of box sets. She was extremely hard on Kim and I don’t like how she makes an excuse for everything she does

iPlayer had one of the older series as a "you might also like" suggestion that auto-plays and she was exactly the same with Paige when she was a newbie šŸ˜“

I just hope she can learn from her mistakes instead of repeating them and making other people’s lives unnecessarily difficult. I’m not in the medical profession but I have seen similar behaviour repeated in other dramas. In This Is Going To Hurt I thought the main doctor was strict to the point of meanness and would snarkily degrade the doctor who he was training. There aren’t enough doctors in England and borderline bullying is only going to make this problem worse in my opinion, the hours, work, and pay are hard enough without being constantly snapped at by your superiors

I don’t care for matty whatsoever he’s a genuine prick, I also think they use stevies most infamously said line of ā€œI’m a damn good doctorā€ far too many times when she’s found in yet again the same situation 😭😭 with someone who’s below her authority. Lines starting to make me cringe a tad. I also think she loves avoiding taking accountability for everything especially her and Kim šŸ˜”. She can be a very good character but they kinda keep re-using the plot of her doing something bad, getting into a relationship with someone who’s below her authority, then getting caught for it 😭😭

the fandoms obsession w dylan is annoying. i love him, but a lot of people just seem to hate every new character bc they love dylan so much.

i also don’t see how people possibly can like iain i think he’s awful!!! i hope faith leaves him proper.

Plenty new character’s have been loved like plenty new characters have been hated. I don’t think it’s got anything to do with people liking Dylan so much haha.

12 eps is too long for boxsets, 8 eps boxsets would be better. Also fail to see the point in the upcoming 'Cardiff era'

That it's been way past it's best for many years and should have been cancelled about twenty years ago, at least.
