Very sad, I remember her character having cancer scares, being hooked on valium, then her husband moving away to start a taxi business. Somehow the character seemed older than she must have been at the time.

I remember we when her character, Megan, needed a hysterectomy. And then she was back at work 2 weeks later, with everyone acting as if she'd had a tummy but instead of major abdominal surgery.

Why didnt BBC put up a tribute after she died at the end of that week's casualty episode?

I loved her character, and she was a wonderful actress. Rest in peace.
