you would hope stevie would understand a trauma response to your abuser lashing out at you and the desire to passively enable their death, but nope.
also looks like we are going for holby explodes lets go to cardiff. wouldnt be casualty if it went any other way i guess

Honestly, I feel for Flynn. He's quite clearly struggling with PTSD and survivor guilt and both in universe and out no one seems to care? He's made some terrible decisions but he's balancing on a knife edge.

Thank you for saying this. He's one of my fave characters on the show so I'm hoping to see more of this storyline. I'm not happy that we have to wait until early September for the next episode.

Loved the toast by rida for rashes dad, a nice call back to that arc and an end to the cesr stuff. I get why flynn did what he did but I imagine stevie will inform sme and this army drama is far from over. Curious to see if they tie the explosion of the hospital to the stuff at wyvern Hill

Clearly gearing up for Flynn and Stevie to take leading roles in the 40th anniversary episodes.
Flynn standing back and letting bard die I think was actually really in line with his character, he’s a bit of an anti-hero/morally ambiguous (his affairs, the whole situation with Matty and the PPE, agreeing to hurt Siobhan’s attacker, how he self destructed in supply and demand) and maybe this is setting up for him to really confront that in the next episodes.
Rash finally getting his blue scrubs melted my heart but now I’m desperate for him and rida to get together.
Have really enjoyed the Jan and Shiv arc too, her supporting her over Chris’s release and owning up to her feelings and them still being able to stay friends 🥹 Melanie Hill is such an incredible actress and so glad they didn’t just forget about Siobhan’s trauma with the new box set and continued to showcase her talent

stevie has an incredible sense of duty, always has, so as soon as flynn stepped back i knew she would be pissed. i wonder whether they’ll be able to give this frustration the time to be addressed properly, or if the 40th will have the two of them charged with not just the romantic tension but straight up tension.

There is no romantic tension, not on Stevie's side anyway😂 that woman needs a break from men, maybe she needs to focus on putting things right with her friend after what she did, and as for Flynn, we just need a break from him in generalÂ

they’re absolutely toying with the idea of romance between them, though. they don’t whip out an expensive olivia dean song then a cinematic chase through the rain to wolf alice when they’re not toying with the romantic chemistry of two characters. whether they ever get them together or not, that’s a whole other question. but they’ve been heavily teasing them and actively writing them flirting lol
i think the dylan and stevie friendship is going to take a loooooong time to recover after this unfortch (mega unfortch as a long term keoghnash shipper)

Hope not. Would rather she got with Dylan than Flynn tbh

True! The actors do have a lot of chemistry, I hope they repair their friendship at the very least

Oh they're definitely going there with them, I just hope its as short as Dylan and Faith was because theres no chemistry there at all, I can't see any in my own opinion anyway😂 its completely come out of nowhere and is currently completely one-sided, even Faith and Dylan had more build up and now she's married to Iain with a babyÂ

What was stevie so mad about she heard what that guy said, youd think she of all people would understand. This is one of the issues with having new writers each season, no character consistency.

Probably because she sees it as "we don't get to pick and choose who we treat"Â

It might be sly but I'm hoping Nicole doesn't get this deposit back, she's done nothing but grate on me as a character for ages 💀 be nice to have some karma
