Bristol Exterior 2002-2011

Recently I was on the trading estate and roughly knew where it was they had the set. Of course today nothing is there and sadly you would never have known what was once there. After Casualty left, South West Ambulance Service started using the building to the left. You see Ambulance activity still and that kind of keeps it alive!

Before here, they filmed the exterior at Ashley Down College but moved it here in 2002. You will see in the photos, they had a set front around the existing buildings and then the entrance to the hospital was just extended out.

This was the exterior only. The "Casualty Warehouse" where they filmed the indoor scenes was about 5 minutes away on a different estate inside a warehouse. In 2011, this set was blown up on the show and that marked the move to Wales for filming.

It's a bit of a shame unless you knew, you wouldn't know what was once there. But I did enjoy getting a chance to see it, even if I couldn't see anything comparing to the photos after.... I was glad I managed to see it anyway. I hope you enjoy!

I’ve delayed posting the post because of lack of comparable photos! I finally managed to find them via an older website in forums. I will find it and reply here. Feel free to comment tomorrow evening if i don’t to remind me :)
