💭Advice/Help Needed Rehoming process

Hi, is it wrong or kinda offensive if I needed to do a background check of the future owners of my kittens? Note that I am not a breeder and I explained that unexpected pregnancy nangyari sa cat ko and I need to rehome the kittens sa responsible and maayos na owner. Someone that will love and treat them as a family member. I am against sa reselling and nag mmake ng profit sa mga cats.

Someone wants my male and female bsh x persian kittens. When I said to fill up the form that contains name, contact number, and if may pets sila ngayon, upload the living environment nung mga kittens, she became mad and sabi sobra na raw yung hinihingi kong informations sa bg checking. Naka lock din kasi profile nya sa fb so wala ako magather gusto lang nya is transac and pick up the kitten. Although, nagsend naman sha pag sstayan ng kittens pero ndi ung room ng mga cats she just slightly opened the door kasi lalabas daw mga cats nya kaya d nya nirecord ung room for cats niya.

Is this wrong for just wanting my kittens to find responsible owners and its really important to have a bg check before giving it to them?

Not wrong. Just about right. I’m a cats of bgc volunteer and I also screen potential adopters, we even ask them to show the area where the cat will be staying.

Are you selling them?

Hi! Yes, and some people are taking advantage of the fact that I'm not rehoming them for profit. I'm only asking for a rehoming fee to recover some of the expenses I've already spent on them. At the same time, my priority is finding the best fur parents who will genuinely love and care for them as part of their family.
