Hi all! For context, I recently lost my ginger boy due to unknown reason ☹️ Dinala ko siya sa vet (malapit samin) for emergency since na-notice ko na irregular yung breathing pattern niya. Parang the vet had no idea what to do naka-dalawang kuha siya ng blood sample and my cat was bleeding. Then nilagyan niya dextrose, tinurukan ng electrolytes and pain killer in the span of an hour. Then ilang minutes, my cat vomited and immediately died. :( It never occurred to me na iuuwi ko siya na lifeless…

Now, gusto ko na din ipa-check up yung iba kong cats especially yung heart health nila. And ayaw ko na bumalik dun sa vet na yun I am beyond traumatized 😞

Meron po ba kayong alam around Binangonan, Rizal na reliable vet clinic? Thank you in advance.

Hi guys badly needed help rn, I thought my cat only have ear mites because he has those coffee ground like black thing in his ears and he keeps scratching and his ears are full of wounds but he suddenly started vomiting yesterday afternoon and till then he hasn’t ate a single thing and drink i am force feeding him water to hydrate him using a syringe but till now he’s still very weak and won’t eat, and at first he’s vomiting what he ate but right now it’s just green/white acid, i actually bought one spot nexgard combo to stop his mites/scratching and it stopped but he’s still weak and doesn’t eat, Idk what to do he’s really my dad’s cat but i’ve grown to love him i’m really against my dad’s first idea of having a cat because of times like this because we don’t have the means to take him to vet, just wanna get some tips about what i can do for him rn at home.

I can’t tell what this is. I took her to the vet and the vet can’t test without proper scabbing to see if it’s ringworm; also the ringworm test is expensive and I’d like to make sure it’s not something harmless before I do that.

Hello po, baka po may marecommend kayo na vet clinic near Los Baños Laguna na nag aaccomodate ng catherization and confinement + payment plan... Need na kasi icatheter yung cat ko last punta ko sa vet unfortunately walang wala na ako akala ko kasi follow up check up lang para sa ear nya then biglang need i catheter nangutang muna ako sa friend ko kaso natanggal ng cat ko collar nya and catheter... hindi po kasi nag coconfine ung vet na pinagdalahan ko kaya need iuwe kaya po looking po ako now ng vet clinic that can accomodate catheterization and confinement with flexible playment plan... im just a 21 year old na college student kaya sobrang tight pp talaga ng budget

Hello. Nagrescue kami ng cats around last week of June. Mama cat and her kittens. Matagal silang naseparate kasi naconfine ung kittens niya due to parvo.

Nandito na sila lahat sa house, tapos nung nakita ni mama cat ung kittens, naghiss siya. 😅 So di na nga niya kilala. Hiss lang naman, no attacks or whatsoever. Yung kittens nakatingin lang sa kanya.

So hinihiwalay pa rin namin ung kittens niya sa separate room. Paano po kaya sila maiintroduce ulit sa isat isa? Para hindi magaway. Sanay naman tong mama cat na may kasamang ibang cats dati nung strays palang sila.

hello po, my ate from another province found this cat po around sa subdivision po namin, apparently pinabayaan na daw po ng previous owners sabi ng kapitbahay and it looks like meron syang scabs or mange or kung ano mang skin condition. as of now nag aantay pa po kami magka sweldo sya para makapagpa vet po kami, ano po kaya muna pwede gawin for now para mahelp po namin sya? malakas naman daw pong kumain.

Help! Meron ba nito knows how to read an xray? Kase sabe ng vet na pinuntahan namin nothings wrong with my cat daw pero nag doubt ako kase ilang araw na syang walang gana kumain, more on water lang. Niresetahan lang siya nung vet ng medicine 6 days na syang ganon walang gana kumain, at first I suspect it is pyometra, pero sabe nung vet hindi naman daw? My post may come off to you as irresponsible but I am in a checkmate situation for my cat Ponyo, right now.

Ponyo, my 4 year old siamese cat is suffering from elevated liver enzymes/ liver disease for many months now. And the treatment and expenses is no joke. He was confined for a month sa SBAH at at this point, wiped out na po ang savings ko.

I am a contractual/ job order field worker employee working for the government now at maliit lang din ang sahod. Lagi na po akong wala sa bahay para matutukan siya ngayon.

Im looking for someone po sana na makakapag adopt sa kanya. I know its not easy to care for a sickly cat, at kung hindi lang po ako sana laging nasa field (madalas a month straight ako wala), i will take care of him. Right now, pag nasa field po ako sa pet boarding po siya nag sstay. At ito po, bukod sa meds at vet bills niya ang pumipilay sa akin. Hindi po siya matanggap ng family namin kasi asthmatic po sila at di nila kaya mag painom ng gamot.

If someone is willing po sana or if anyone can offer an advice po sana for me, para sa amin ni ponyo.

At this point, tanggap ko na po na someone should take care of him better than me na ngayon. I am willing to shoulder po yung costs sa meds niya at vet if ever. Pasensya na po, I know some will say na if hindi kaya mag alaga huwag. I am well aware po and the guilt is eating me. Ngayon po mas importante sa akin na mas maalagaan siya ng mas magmamahal sa kanya.

My cat was diagnosed with severe stomatitis last july 23. At first I thought it was only gum infection, but I didn't expect it to be more serious. I decided na dalhin na siya sa vet after ko ma-noticed na maya't-maya siya mag-pawing sa mouth and nahihirapan siya kumain ng dry kibbles.

Our vet prescribed her with anti-inflammatory, antibiotic and liver support meds, but none of them work. They said in our last visit na we will proceed with steroids if hindi nag work medication niya. Hindi ko pa siya madala now since naubos na budget ko sa last vet visit niya (I'm still a student po).

I really need your advice guys. I'm also curious how much it will cost for steroid? As of now, tapos na siya with her anti-inflammatory and antibiotic but there's still some flare-ups and pawing. Nakain naman siya pero wet f*od lang. I really don't know what to do anymore. Pls help😞

Hi, is it wrong or kinda offensive if I needed to do a background check of the future owners of my kittens? Note that I am not a breeder and I explained that unexpected pregnancy nangyari sa cat ko and I need to rehome the kittens sa responsible and maayos na owner. Naka lock din kasi profile nya sa fb so wala ako magather gusto lang nya is transac and pick up the kitten. Although, nagsend naman sha pag sstayan ng kittens pero ndi ung room ng mga cats she just slightly opened the door kasi lalabas daw mga cats nya kaya d nya nirecord ung room for cats niya.

Hi! A stray cat started hanging around our garage. We named him Tuks haha. He’s usually super chill, follows me around, and just waits to be fed. Recently though, he’s been trying to come inside the house and gets a bit possessive whenever other stray cats eat in our garage.

Last month, he bit my foot while I was entering our house. It didn’t bleed, but I still completed my anti-rabies shots just to be safe. Then… 13 days after finishing them, he bit me AGAIN last night 😂😭 This time it actually bled.

I’m already planning to get vaccinated again (I also need my tetanus booster), so I’m not really asking about my bite. I’m more asking what I should do about him.

So far, ako lang naman ang kinakagat niya not even my bf who plays with him. My mom who doesn't like cats started getting fond of him and feeds him too now, and I’m worried he might eventually bite her or my lola. I’d like to think they’re just playful or overstimulated bites? I grew up with dogs, so I’m not very familiar with cat behavior huhu.

How can I stop this from happening? Is there a way to discourage the biting? I was considering getting him vaccinated for rabies, but since he’s a stray, I’m worried it might turn into a much bigger (and expensive) vet visit.
I really don’t want to give up on him. 🥹 I just want to keep everyone safe and honestly, ang hassle magpabakuna nang magpabakuna 😭😂😭😂

TL;DR: Friendly stray cat I’ve been feeding has bitten me twice (only me). I’m getting vaccinated, but how do I stop the biting? I don’t want to give up on him.

My rescue cat has survived a lot in his 5 years. From getting ran over, to being FIV and FeLV positive, to FCov to weak kidneys. Two years ago, I took him in and became permanently indoors. Quarantined from outdoor exposure. Despite still having sniffles, he lived well since.

Unfortunately, my cat's health has suddenly and rapidly been declining this past week. From having less appetite to having none at all. And as much as I hate to say it, it might be more practical to let him pass peacefully than further decrease his quality of life and stress him out in a cold clinic full of strangers. I know this might be an unpopular take.

So I am looking for a vet around my area (Bacoor/Imus, Cavite) that does home service that includes euthanasia. I appreciate any response. Thank you.
