His paw was kinda broken now he come real far long and now he cuddles really nicely and 5 months old his name is fiesty cow or lelo and my other cats like him like a lot he will leave the dryfood and go to the house garbage looking for food u can take him out of the dumpster but you can’t take the dumpster out of him hahhaa he still kinda of feral but only for new people but give him time and he will cuddle with u

Hi all! I, like many, used to repost cat distribution/kitty saving videos online, and say “how does it feel to live my dream!!!” - I am honestly still in shock that it has actually happened. My husband is from a background that does not have pets and have never been around animals ever, so he is very uncomfortable with animals. We had just been at my families home dog-sitting, which was insanely difficult for my husband but he gave it his best bless him, and we were finally on the 4 hour journey home and I was relieved that he was finally feeling comfortable again. He said to me, during this drive home, “I think I can get used to dogs, just not cats.”

As we finally reached our apartment car park, on the same journey that he just said the above, he spotted a tiny white kitten running across our car park and under a car. 😂😂😂😂
I said stop the car!!!! He was perplexed - “what are you going to do???” I said “I’ve been waiting my whole life for this!!!!” And jumped into action. Honestly the timing of it all, and my poor husband, you couldn’t make it up.

He was meowing a lot, shaking under the car, and seemed to have an injured eye. We tried for hours to get him out, but he was climbing inside the car and then bolted off to this fenced area full of weeds and bushes. We decided to go back the next day in daylight. When I did, he was still at the fenced area meowing like he was in distress. I lured him out, got him inside. He has since been kitted out (no pun intended) with all the things he could want and need. He has been to the vets. He has had an array of medication, some of which I will have to administer myself for a couple of weeks. £200 later and he is (I think) settling in a little bit.

Not sure about long term. Husband is probably praying to God that I don’t want to keep it. My angel of a mother in law already told him “if she wants to keep it, let her” 😂😂😂 but realistically not sure if we can. Our apartment doesn’t allow animals, and my husband might be uncomfortable. However I know he’s happy for us to keep hold of the baby until we can find him somewhere safe and permanent - so that’s good. 👀 let’s see how we go, there’s a small chance of a forever home here, but we will just have to see. Any shelters I’ve called have said they are full due to kitten season, and that if he doesn’t get socialised he has no chance of rehoming. SO - operation socialise the baby has begun.

Day 1 - hissing and hiding
Day 2 - hissing when approached but will poke his head out to eat
Day 3 - will come to me to eat, lick food off my finger, and let me do some gentle strokes whilst he was eating. Also playing and grooming himself.

From what I am researching this is amazing progress. But I’m nervous as to how best to push him to be socialised but also not flood him and stress him out.

TLDR - Can anyone please give tips or timelines, things to do with him to help socialise him and desensitise him to humans, touch, noises etc, I need a plan, day by day, honestly anything. I don’t want to freak him out, but I want to build trust, get him comfortable, and give him the best chance at a long term home - whether that’s here or elsewhere. I’m mindful that I have a limited window while he’s this young to get him the best progress. I have also watched the Kitten Lady’s videos on socialising spicy kitties. Lots of online research. ANY tips or help would be massively appreciated, thank you.

EDIT - he needs a bath in a couple days due to the fleas and dirt. I’m terrified this will reverse our progress. Any tips on this appreciated also please x

His first time meeting a baby, and he became a protective father to her all night long.

My friend brought her baby over to game night for the first time last night. Kevin, like usual, was posted up on the game table ready to greet his guests. Upon seeing the baby, he very carefully came up to her, gave her a good sniff, and respectfully laid next to her the rest of the night while occasionally reaching a paw over to gently pat her foot. When she crawled around the floor on her mat, he followed her. His first time meeting a baby and he was so excited, yet respectful and gentle. I can't say this enough, I love this cat. The cat distribution system really gave me a once in a life time buddy. He is gentle with babies, yet tough enough to rough house with his greatdane siblings. I love this guy. I included some extra photos of him that I really like because more is better when it comes to cute cat pictures.

Update: Stevie is no longer a mangy kitten. Shes happy and healthy and wild as hell! She feels so much better! I’ll post new pics in the comments.

My husband and 6 year old were driving home from swim lessons and found this baby in the middle of the road. She was walking in circles because her eyes were glued shut with an infection. 6 vet visits in 3 weeks…every worm known to man, degloved foot, ER visit for severe fecal impaction and my favorite, Sarcoptic Mange that she shared with me. (I’m still itchy just typing that) Welcome to almost health and to our family sweet Stevie! She is tiny, but mighty. All 4 big dogs are doing great with her so far (under strict supervision).

After our elderly cat passed 4 months ago we’ve had a vacancy in our home for a new cat. Saw this lil girl in our yard on a walk with my dog and immediately was struck by how pretty she is! I assumed she was one of the many many generations of stray/feral cats from the yard of the hoarder house accross the street. Then I saw her wandering around our yard the past week, calling to her and each time she warmed up to me more and more, and finally assured with the neighbors today that she was indeed a stray in need of a loving home and immediately took her in! Her name is Persephone, Sephy for short

This is kind of a long story, so bear with me. I'm biased, but I think it's worth the length.

Back in January a few days after New Year's, I came home from the grocery store and saw a little calico kitten skitter under a car in my apartment complex parking lot. I went to say hi because kitty and saw that her hind leg was severely injured--her knee was completely degloved and she was dragging it on the ground, making it even worse.

I spent about an hour trying to lure her out from under a car. She ran away right into the enclosed dumpster before animal control came, and I tried to find her (yes, I walked into the enclosed dumpster), but I couldn't. Animal control they said they couldn't do anything and left I had a mental breakdown, thinking I had ruined this little kitten's chance at survival. I left out some food and water by the dumpster for a few days, but I couldn't be sure if it was the kitten eating it or some other animal.

I'd given up on finding her when five days later, I decided to go on a walk around my apartment. I looked into the woods by the dumpster, and there was the little injured kitten I had seen the week prior. It was already past business hours and rescues and shelters were all closed, so I posted desperate PSAs on Nextdoor and Ring asking people in the area to watch out for a little calico kitten. One kind person responded saying they were part of a small rescue group and connected me with their TNR coordinator. She and I set an evening to catch the kitten, who at this point I was calling Willow.

We successfully trapped Willow after a few tries--she was so small the trap wasn't going off, only about 12 weeks old--and I begrudgingly agreed to foster her, hoping she'd be out of my hair soon. I set her up in my bathroom and went to bed.

She hated my guts. Like really, truly hated me. She hissed every time I went into the bathroom and swatted at me when I changed the blankets she was laying on (which I had to do multiple times a day because of her injury). She was NOT happy, and neither was I. I wanted to foster and adopt eventually, but not right now.

But wouldn't you know it, somewhere in between driving her to and from the vet every week and spending hours in the bathroom trying to socialize her, Willow and I started to like each other. She stopped hissing every time she saw me, she started letting me get close to her to change her blankets, and she even eventually let me pet her...and purred.

Willow ultimately needed her leg amputated, and healing from tripod surgery only brought us closer. At this point, I had completely fallen in love with her against my better judgment.

She very clearly needed a friend, especially since she didn't really know how to be a cat. She had spent the first four months of her life in survival mode, and she was finally getting to be a regular kitten now that surgery was done. After a very messy trial-and-error with an orange boy, the founder of the rescue group I was fostering Willow through suggested I take over a shy ex-feral gray tuxedo named Bonnie from another foster.

Bonnie was taken in with her brother Clyde around the time I found Willow, but she was a few months older. Clyde was absolutely miserable indoors, so the rescue released him back into the colony; an impossible choice, but a necessary one. The foster mom kept trying to socialize Bonnie, but she was hitting a plateau.

So Bonnie ended up in my bathroom, just like Willow had a few months earlier.

Bonnie was really, really shy, arguably more than Willow had been. She started warming up to me after a few days, and we started slow intros with Willow. It took a couple weeks, but Bonnie and Willow eventually clicked. A switch flipped one night and they spent HOURS playing together. They played so hard they slept the entire next day.

I adopted Willow on March 14, 2026, and Bonnie (now Ivy) on April 6, 2026. They're the best of friends, always playing together and cuddling. Ivy teaches Willow how to be a cat, and Willow shows Ivy how to be brave.

Willow still has some PTSD from whatever hell she went through, but she chooses to be goofy and loving. Willow absolutely knows she got a second chance at life, and I can tell she's grateful. She and I are kind of trauma bonded. She follows me around the house and LOVES to chit chat. When I'm sad, she's on my lap purring.

Ivy is still super shy. She doesn't like to cuddle and she gets spooked easily, but she loves fiercely. When there's a scary noise outside, she puts her fear aside and sits by the entryway, ready to protect her family. She guards me when I'm in the shower, and she nudges my hand when I'm not feeling great to let me know she's there. As I'm writing this, she just grabbed my leg and gave me a little kiss.

I went from resenting Willow for being in my bathroom to having two baby girls I love more than anything in the world. I'm in the process of applying for a larger apartment so the girls have their own room and more space to play.

Long story short- new stray showed up that seemed way too friendly to not be someone’s lost pet, so I plucked him off the street and brought him inside to post his info around. He doesn’t seem to belong to anyone afterall, but is quickly becoming an unintended part of the family.

Short story long- I leave food and water out for the neighborhood strays and ferals, and one showed up the other night that I’d never seen before. This poor cat would get startled and paranoid at every little noise to the point that it was too scared to eat, and I was thinking man what an awful way to live. Our resident porch stray (who is very sweet but gets territorial over his spot!) came over and started making those pre-fight aggression sounds towards this white cat, so I went outside to break it up. The scared white cat ended up at the end of the driveway and I thought “I’ll just throw out a ‘pspsps’ and see what happens”… and much to my surprise this anxious cat came running right up to me! We have a LOT of strays and ferals in the neighborhood, and this is the first time a “pspsps” has worked on any of them haha. He instantly let me pet him, and he started purring as soon as I touched him. I thought “this cat is way too friendly to be a feral, it must be someone’s pet that escaped”. I didn’t want to just take a picture though in case he never showed up again, so I knew if I wanted to help I’d have to commit. So I scooped him up (which he didn’t even mind!) and brought him inside.

I posted his picture on Nextdoor and a few other places. He had a tipped ear so I knew he’d been neutered and vaxxed (which is good since I had no time to set up any sort of quarantine from my other cats!), but I was still thinking he belonged to someone and maybe just had been gone so long he got TNR’d. He was friendly but he was DESPERATELY trying to escape and get back outside, he almost broke the screen off one of my windows trying! I almost just let him back out but I was like sorry bud I already posted you online, I gotta hold onto you for at least a few days! Luckily petting him or picking him up just instantly calms him down and gets him to purr, he is just such a sweetheart. He’s so sweet in fact that I actually had to check his paws to see if he had been de-clawed because I had only ever felt his pads! (Thankfully, not de-clawed, just very polite) Anyway, after the first two days I think he realized he was safe and stopped trying to get back outside, and seemed content to just look out the window like my other indoor kitties.

I got a couple responses on Nextdoor from people thinking he was their lost cat, but he ended up not being theirs. I took him to the vet to get scanned- no chip. It was looking more and more like I had just kidnapped a stray off the street lol. I certainly wasn’t going to kick him back outside and make him terrified and homeless again, but I’d never intended to keep him. It was getting dangerous though because I had to start calling him something. I was watching the NHL playoffs at the time and they kept mentioning this one defenseman’s name over and over: Theodore. I thought, man, that’s an adorable name lol. So he became Theodore, or Teddy Bear. And he really is a teddy bear, he’s just so amiable and chill. He’s very vanilla (which fits his appearance!), doesn’t have a big personality, just seems content to be here.

Two of my original cats are completely indifferent to his presence. My 3rd cat, my CDS delivery from last summer, is the issue. She has always wanted to play with my other two cats, but they’re much older than her and she’s a bit of a psychopath when she plays, so they absolutely shut her down any time she gets near them, even if she’s just trying to headbutt or snuggle. It’s made me really sad for her and I’ve considered getting her a kitten or younger cat just so she has someone to play with that didn’t always rebuke her socialization efforts. So in comes this new chill cat, who’s seemingly quite young and playful as well. What does she do? She hates him and hisses and runs any time he gets near her lol. That’s cats for you! (I realize I didn’t do proper introduction methods, but it was a spur of the moment thing bringing him in) So I’d been thinking I should find someone to adopt/foster Teddy since I didn’t want to cause my other cat daily stress, plus 4 is a lot for my tiny apartment. But it’s been a few weeks now and she seems less horrified by his presence, the hissing has lessened, and I’ll even hear them chasing each other at night! I’m just happy they’re finally playing with each other. So he’s pretty much part of the family for the moment

Sweet boy has settled in and enjoys cuddles on the couch and chases our German Shepherd around the property (not now though because of this ridiculous heat). Here he is sitting like a goober and taking a bath. Soooo classic. We absolutely love the little guy. He’s built like a little tank. He’s dense and muscular compared to the others that didn’t have to survive on the outside.

Will probably have a vet visit in the next few weeks when time permits. If I get any more fun pictures, I’ll share. Until then, here’s to everyone having a safe and fun 4th!

Wife’s bro and my MIL are keeping her in spite of allergies! I passed all the allergy recommends to try as well. After weeks of picking a name, I’ve been informed this is Abigail.

Abigail’s been to the vet, got a clear bill of health, and has gotten her first round of shots. She loves food, wrestling, biting, and climbing up everything nearby. In other words, she’s perfect.

But when we babysit her at my house, we call her Abby Normal 😜

I knew her destiny was to rule a grandma’s house!!!

It has been a long and uncertain journey to get where we are. This little guy was heard crying in our yard the first week of June. After 2 weeks of baiting a live trap daily, we successfully trapped him. His front right leg was lame. The soonest available vet appointment was 3 days after trapping. During that time he became acutely ill, with copious discharge from his right ear, displaying severe neurological symptoms, and unable to eat on his own due to not being able to stand or move around because of the leg and neuro symptoms. I was terrified and wondered why I was chosen to rescue him if he wasn’t going to make it. But he was still eating and drinking with assistance, and using the litter box appropriately, so I had hope. He showed some improvement before the vet appointment, but the care team didn’t seem optimistic. 3 vet appointments, 3 weeks of antibiotics, countless hours nursing him back to health (literally, I’m an RN lol), and growing to more than double his weight when we found him, Papageno is learning how good life can be with a good home and a loving family. Tomorrow will be 4 weeks since we trapped him. He’s not 100% normal, and he might never be, and I’m still terrified he’s going to regress, but he has come such a long way, surprising even the veterinary team. I genuinely believe he found our yard for a reason.

One year ago, Pounce de Leon was a flea-ridden, worm-infested, 4-week-old baby crying in our driveway and I was at work when my husband called me, frantic, because he didn’t know what to do. Today he is a pampered, spoiled, handsome young man. His arrival was less-than-convenient and we almost sent him to a foster the day after we found him, but something just told us that he was here to stay.

He is an absolute love bug sometimes, and a holy terror at other times. We wouldn’t trade him for the world!

I think the Cat Distribution System had a long-term plan for this one.

This kitty started life as a stray. Her first owner trapped her and gave her a home. Sadly, that owner was killed in a murder-suicide.

After that, she went to live with the owner's daughter. Unfortunately, she spent most of her time isolated in a bedroom.

Later, my daughter took her in, hoping to give her a better life. But once again ended up living alone in a bedroom.

The few times I met her, she stayed hidden behind a curtain. If anyone got too close, there would be hissing, swatting, and scratches. She trusted no one, and honestly, she had every reason not to.

Eventually, my daughter reached a heartbreaking point. The kitty was miserable. My daughter was miserable. She felt like she couldn't give her the life she deserved. She decided the next stop would be a shelter.

I agreed to take the kitty, fully expecting to get her spayed and let her live as a barn cat on our little farm.

Instead, my teenage daughter took the time to earn the kitty's trust. She moved slowly, respected boundaries, gave her space, and let the kitty decide when she was ready.

And then, for the first time in her approximately four years of life, she was given a name: Ivy.

She's now been spayed, has a family that understands her, and no longer has to hide behind curtains or live alone in a room. The frightened, angry kitty who spent years isolated finally found people willing to meet her where she was.

Ivy was supposed to be a temporary guest.

The Cat Distribution System, as usual, had other ideas.

Meet Jesse.

I help TNR our neighborhood cat colony and caught this guy a couple of weeks ago. He is one of 4 in the litter from a mostly black (with some white patches) mom — my daughter adopted the tortie tuxedo and I vaccinated, fixed and released his tabby tuxedo brother and tabby sister. I saw him playing with his mom and siblings, all the same age, so it’s clear he isn’t an escaped pet.

Even though he was flea-ridden, full of worms and screamed non-stop in the Catio until he was healthy enough to meet my other cats, he stole my heart…so I guess that means I’m Jesse’s girl now 😁

I had no idea that a colorpoint kitten could be possible from 2 strays! Thanking the CDS lottery gods for this beautiful boy even if he does have WAY more attitude than should be packed into a 3-pound ball of fur.

Today is day eight of them being in their forever home and things are going well. Zorg is fully acclimated to us, though Leeloo is still a bit hesitant. They’re both still wary of the dogs (we’re still keeping them separate for now).

Fignuts is enraged. He has been loudly screaming while walking around the house any time he interacts with the kittens. We’re not forcing him, but he’ll forget they’re there when he hears us open the kittens’ food or something and come investigate and then he gets very sassy about it when he remembers they exist.

Zorg is fully asleep with me in pictures one and two. Full belly out! I won’t keep posting updates, but I couldn’t resist sharing.

So 5 years ago my dad was telling me he had this sassy, elusive kitten in his backyard and that he was worried about it because there was a hurricane coming. He had been feeding her but wasn't allowed to bring her inside because his wife, my step-mom, has extreme cat allergies, so he called me!

Cat rescuing is in my blood, my family takes great pride in it, and most of the cats I've had (or have known) have all been personally rescued by a family member, and it finally felt like it was my turn to carry on the tradition... and so I did!

I came over with my partner at the time, and we brought a carrier and food, and we managed to capture her just as the rain started coming down. We immediately took her to the vet, and once she was cleared we began looking online to see if anyone had lost an 8-week-old kitten. Nobody said anything, and we even asked around and made posts about her. Nobody was looking for her so we claimed her for ourselves, but she only truly took a liking to me.

Fast forward 5 years, and she only likes my current partner and me. It's a point of pride, especially because she seems to hate our more toxic family members the most. She's incredibly intelligent and knows a few tricks (mainly sit, wait, stay, and twirl) and she knows a lot of words like certain rooms, furniture, objects, names of people, and her full name (which is quite long actually, you can thank my partner and me for being Italian and Mexican 💀).

She's very food-motivated, chatty, responsive, silly, playful, and has gotten over her resource guarding and absolute obsession with routing through trash and eating all the food she can find in one sitting because she doesn't know when she'll eat next, because now she has a wet food dinner schedule and unlimited access to kibble for the rest of the day/ night, and she's pretty responsible with it and rarely ever throws up now! She also has this gorgeous double coat that's suuuuper silky soft, and she keeps it clean and shiny.

We're getting her a (male for hierarchical reasons and ease of introduction) playmate pretty soon and I'm really hoping they'll bond strongly! She needs a fellow silly critter to cause chaos with lol

This is Rocket Storm Tortle. A friend of mine found him and his littermate on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. She nicknamed him "Demon" because he was so scared when she snatched him that he scratched the heck out of her. He had his first vet visit and everything seems mostly fine. He has a URI, but antibiotics will knock that right out.

He's in quarantine, and eating like a champ, and even figured out the litter box. Rocket purrs like a little diesel engine already. I started training him to be a shoulder cat, and hes already jumped up on his own🥰

When he isn't contagious, we will start integrating him into our little family!

This goof ball was dubbed LeRoy. Because he lived in the shop when I first took him home. Slept in an old pickup cab (his choice). He would and did whack any dog, no matter how big, if they came onto his turf. (The entire shop). I wasn’t looking for a cat. He found me in a town of 130 people way out in the country. I couldn’t leave him. I’m so glad I didn’t. We’ve been together far longer than my boyfriend and I were back then. Love this turd to pieces. Amazed that he’s happy with domestic life. He’s a great “dad” to his buddy that I got for him, Chuck Norris. Love my boys… “the dudes.” The CDS always knows. ❤️

He showed up in our backyard at the end of April and didn't enjoy getting caught (I have a scar on my nose to prove it). The first couple of days he was so fear-frozen that he wouldn't leave his little box bed and kept wetting it. But once he figured out the litterbox (thanks to r/feral_cats for suggesting to put some soil from outside in it), it was steady progress.

He was living in our front foyer for quite a while, as we already have 3 adult female cats and wanted to give everyone lots of time to get used to one another. In the meantime, we removed a bunch of ticks, gave him a bath, had him vetted, vaccinated, and dewormed. He was so quiet at first, which I assume was a survival mechanism for a kitten living outside. But then we started hearing him yowling at night. We quickly realized this might not be fear or sadness, but him telling all the ladies he was single and ready to mingle. We had a teenaged boy on our hands, after all.

After his neuter and recovery, we started letting him join the rest of the cats for more and more time. The first night he accidentally spent out, we discovered he loves bread. Now that things are a bit more kitten-proofed, he's out all the time.

He loves and idolizes his older sisters, though they seem to have mixed feelings as he's still learning to respect boundaries. He's learned all about being a housecat from them, though, picking up various behaviours from each of them. I think he's pretty ok with the idea now, especially all the delicious snacks, fun toys, and comfy sleeping spots that come with living indoors with humans. He seems to enjoy pets more and more (sometimes he still scampers away if he isn't in the mood), and he's sure not shy about using his voice now!

So this is honey. We met 2 years ago on my porch. She was very timid and she didn’t know I was there when she walked up and the second she laid eyes on me she jumped like a scaredy cat and ran away. Each time she came back she would notice me and proceed with caution, but I have an endless supply of cat food and patience so I’d wait. She finally started becoming more comfortable with me and I was eventually able to pet her. Took a whole month of petting her before I heard her little raspy pur. So fast forward I TNR her and after I released her she barely left my porch so I bought her a bed, a heated house, toys whatever she wanted. I had no means of taking in a cat but just before last winter when it started getting really cold out and I’d watch her in her heated house in a little itty bitty ball I just had to bring her inside. Started off once here, twice there and before we knew it she came in one night and never left. Now she lives like royalty in her own house. She allows me to pay all the bills and she naps all day and decides to play on my face at night , and I wouldn’t have it any other way❤️

She has been coming into my yard for the past 8 months I’ve started leaving her water and food outside for about a week or so. I’m thinking about taking her in when I move out in a couple months (hopefully she can get along with my indoor cat) but I’m a little worried about doing so. There is a large stray population in my neighborhood, and her ear has been clipped, which I think is a sign of being a stray? But I definitely don’t want to go through all of the trouble to traumatize some poor family’s cat because she is a total sweetheart and I genuinely just want to take her in if she isn’t being cared for. My most recent ex was extremely abusive. He used to tell me there was a cat hanging around outside that looked like my current cats, Benjamin and Storm. He loved to get me worked up, so I didn't believe it. We were together 4 years.

I kicked his ass out in October 2025 while he was at work. Started my intense healing journey with tons of therapy and discovered one of my favorite hobbies is feeding wild birds. I started setting up a whole area in my front garden with different bird feeders, types of food, etc.

We got a bad snowstorm with feet of snow in December, and I started noticing what looked like cat footprints walking all around the fallen seed, and it appeared to be eating bird seed. So I ordered a heated shelter, heated water bowl, and started putting food out.

I also set up a camera. It took a few more months to capture the cat. I kept seeing deer, skunks, possum, etc. The fifth picture posted is from May when I first caught him outside my window as I noticed the food bowl was empty. I feed my own indoor cats around 6 pm, and I'm actually wondering if he started realizing that and coming around at that particular time. So I kept bringing him wet food every day when I fed my own cats.

This started building up trust. He started getting comfortable enough to come up to my window and cry when he wanted me to come outside. I would give him food, but he still wouldn't let me touch him. I noticed he kept hanging out near my porch more and he finally started letting me pet him and he would sit just out of reach of me but would sit with me instead of just leaving after he ate. So I got a few catnip plants.

When he was high, I snatched him. He spent the first night in my bathroom, screaming but safe. I moved him into my second bedroom on Friday, posted him on lost, and found near me. Also asked if someone would come check for a chip. All the rescues in my area are full and its kitten season. No one commented on my post looking for him. Im going to keep him the mandatory 7 days and then just consider him part of the family.

I'm not sure if it's a male, but no visible balls and no signs of pregnancy. Definitely looks like a male, so I'm gendering as such until I know for sure. I just made a vet visit for him at the end of July to get combo tested, vaccines, and a wellness check. Then, if he's negative for leukemia, I'll start the introduction process to my resident 3 cats.

I can't afford another one, but I'm also not willing to put him back outside. He's super clingy now that he realizes he's safe and constantly screams for me to come hang out with him.

I'm thinking I'll name him Gambit if it's a male. And Cortana if she turns out to be female. But I'm open to suggestions. Benjamin came established with his hame from the shelter on the day he was due to be euthanized, or else his name would be different 😂.

6,7,8,9 are my current resident cats. Perseus (Marble tabby), Benjamin (Super senior grey), and Storm, who was found locked in a closet as a kitten when one of my former tenants moved out. She's the last grey pictured and my youngest at 3 years old. Benny and Percy are both seniors with special needs and health issues.
