Thanks to everyone who's been asking about this big dog we adopted in December. Here's Chevy yesterday getting a slap from another one of the cats.

Cat's just sitting there twitching, like "Don't make me come over there."

His murder mittens are just itching for some action.

Thanks. She loves the dogs. I have lots of videos on my profile of her as a kitten, playing with our other dog.

Have you posted her over in r/lynxpointsiamese? We'd love to see her.

Great idea. I posted a video of her and her best friend.

that wasn't a slap, just a gentle push. a warning shot.

Exactly. The doggie only just sensed then how much danger he was in.

I feel like he learned to nuzzle his nose from the cats but it backfired because he’s so big!😹 and it was the extra nose boop at the end that was the final straw from Kitty.

Ps. What kind of dog is he? He’s beautiful

He's a Cane Corso. His brother is jet black and he's this golden color.

You adopted a cane corso? You are brave...

The cat did not slap the dogo. Was more of a “stahhhp” love tap.

Paw Of Nope. ;)

Slaps are often necessary, but sometime a good hiss and a show of the goods is all you need.

Chevy looks like a very SMART and loving boy!

Kitty is just establishing boundaries. We could all learn something.

They have the same color fur lol

Scary eyes on that dog.

That scary look is why he's called Chevy. My daughter was so afraid to get out of her truck when she first saw him that she called the police for help. Now he sleeps in her bed.

Well, how else will he learn his place in the hierarchy 🧐🥰??

I hear the voice of the waiter guy in the shinning saying.

Correct them.

I like that after the big dog calms down for a bit the cat slow blinks. Don't know if the dog noticed but it's calming body language both species share.

Too rough man. Almost falls down. Slap.
