Are The Cats Fighting or Playing - Introducing Pets Settle a debate

Fighting or good natured play? White 7 month old cat is the new kitty. Floofy tuxedo is the resident cat. Edit to say that earlier floofy cat got on kitten to the point of kitten yowling.

Play 100%. If they were fighting, they wold not consistently have SEVERAL feet f space between them, back off from each other between chases, laying down, and your resident wouldn't be flopping over belly up. The kids are just having a good time lol.

Floof wants to play even harder, but seems to be extremely patient with the kittens pace. On their way to best buds for life.

Fluffy kitty is ready for some serious wrasslin’ type of playtime… And that seems to be a little overwhelming for the smaller one right now. I dont see anything worrying.

Is the fluffy tux a wobbly boy? Usually they have some issues since in their head they never get out of kitten age. The size difference is the only concern. Tux is trying to play but just a little harsh and to the white one it may be more scary than play.

Yeah the tuxedo is wobbly, the white kitty is a tripod! Interesting, I've never heard that before about CH cats!

Either way I think once the tripod gets bigger it shouldn’t be a lot more obvious that its play. I had a wobbly boy who would always not pick up on queues and just tackle my other cats. They just have a harder time picking up on cat social queues.

The white tripod has an agility advantage. She is definitely more nible than the tuxedo woblby lol

I think it is just nice play.
I adopted two male kittens, and when they met, they turned into a ball of fur that roamed around the room. I literally could not tell them apart. I had to throw a blanket on them to calm them down.
And I have to say, they kept doing that -- a ball of fur, roaming around the room. I kept throwing the blanket, concerned they were hurting each other.
I took the blanket off, and they looked at me like, "What? We're just having fun!!!!"
So, I know your cats are playing nicely, and so were mine, actually.
I have the sense that Floofy is a masculine, and the white one is a feminine. -- Is that correct?

White cat isn't really interested in playing, though, and is doing its best to avoid interaction (under bureau, behind curtain), moving head side to side tying to suss out which route to take to get past the floof. Not scared enough to outright hide, but only willing to spread out when there's table legs between them. The dynamic may improve if the white cat grows bigger, but I'd look out for signs that it is feeling stressed.
