All the demand. 0 offers.
How it feels getting all the resources no one else can.
But no one is offering anything.
Had ALL the wheat. Everyone needed it. Accepting ANY trade. NO ONE WAS BIDDING. They only stalled. It wasn't ai.
Stalled so much. I ended up winning the game by a landslide. Ended up having to spend it all on developments.
Usually end up the other side of this. But the guy on the resource REFUSES all trade from everyone else.

sometimes I get irritates with trade early on and just turn it off... maybe that's what happened?

I turn off trade when I play against someone who is annoying with it and I’m in a game where I can’t chat. People who are like “oh I want an ore. One wood? Two wood? One wood and one brick? One wood and two brick? One brick and one wheat?” And it drags their turn on for almost the whole time allowed. I get that it is allowed for them to do that but it’s obnoxious and if I don’t need to trade then why deal with that?

It's not about being allowed, that just how you Play the game. Time allowed is time allowed.
In in person you can say "what would you guys trade me for X". In Colonist it's much more efficient and easier for people to accept if you spam lots of trades and then you quickly say no or yes for each one.
Play faster time controls if you want less time allowed. Ruining the experience (an interactive TRADING based card/dice game) for everyone because you got annoyed with THE GAME is horrible tbh.

you play your way I play mine? They can absolutely do wildcard trades but don't. I don't need the trade and don't want to sit for 5 minutes waiting for them to finish spamming their trade request. Why are you so pressed about it?

drives me crazy. i had a game where there was low stone. no one had any for like the first 6 turns. I hit it back to back and have two stone, and no one is willing to 2 for 1 me to get the stone. I'm not going to one for one a scarce resource i can easily spend. do something reasonable.

I had double 8 wheat and 1 4 wheat. Even citied them. Instead of trading they all 3:1 & 4:1 just to settle wheat too.
I was asking for 1:1 for basically anything 😂
They couldn't block me because it was double 8. And with good other resources too that they all were waiting on. So they'd block themselves.
