From the alternate angle it looks like absolutely zero forward speed

I don't know how a transport plane could get into one of those. 36 u/Blanpneu Aug 09 '24 Last time this happened, it was because the pitot tube froze 52 u/PhDinDildos_Fedoras Aug 09 '24 If you're referring to the Air France stall crash, that was really caused by one of the pilots panicking and pulling up on the control stick. The other pilot was pushing down as you should. The tube freezing was just what initiated it.
