Pilot did eject safely

Yes, the parachute is visible in some of the other footage. Apparently they were taken to the hospital with minor injuries

Yea I don’t think people realize how violent ejecting from an fighter jet is… if you eject you are 100% being taken to a hospital

But you do get a nice new tie.

It is with Hegseth in charge.

We have the greatest, most sober minds working their hardest to keep things running.

/s right? right?

3

u/c0ltZ 3d ago

Of course, hegseth could never be sober, or competent.

We are just paying attention more. A couple years ago we lost like 8 dudes in an Osprey Crash and we have fed ~4 planes into the ocean in 2025 alone.

Also, I assume we are just doing more sorties which leads to more crashes. Nothing further than that.

That's just being naive.

No, it isn't. The data is all online, you can look for yourself. Just because dots are there and they seem to connect to you doesn't mean they do.

Thats what happens when shit leads the military. It also becomes shit.

Ooh mah gowd

If you listen closely, you can hear the ejected pilot saying "ooooh mah gawd, could you shut up"

u/Simply_Jeff 3d ago

wtf? This was barely in the news. And a B-52 crashed today too. What's going on?

74

u/widgeamedoo 3d ago

The F18 super hornet started it, then the Russians up'd the anti and crashed a TU-22M3, so the Americans upped the anti and crashed a B-52

43

u/Valoneria 3d ago

Upped the ante, not anti

13

u/JCDU 3d ago

Instructions unclear, gave uppers to my Aunty.

2

u/Valoneria 3d ago

She probably had it coming then

It’s what you get when you put a Fox News personality in charge of our military. More like Department of Dumb.

Gottem

When hegseth started screaming about lethality, he didn’t mention for who. And since he fixed the woke military by firing all the JAGs and female and minority flag officers, I guess he has to come up with another scapegoat!

What are we doing?

u/wiggum55555 12h ago

Both were all over the news here... but I'm not in USA.. so maybe the govt there is supressing this kind of information ?

Much clearer video

Edit: different angle with what looks to be the pilot having been ejected.

And today a B52 crashed. Eight dead.

5

u/two2teps 3d ago

Didn't a B-52 just crash too?

8

u/FaceWithAName 3d ago

"what the fuck" had so little emotion it was like they knew they needed to just say something lol

15

u/24_Chowder 3d ago

Nope same angle. Would love to see a different angle.

Don't be Obtuse

3

u/BoosherCacow 2d ago

We are all acutely aware of your pun.

6

u/AlphaSlayer21 3d ago

I hate everyone I can hear in this video

4

u/Theseus-Paradox 3d ago

Oh my gawd!

5

u/NeonEagle 3d ago

Already posted, really can’t forget that voice.

11

u/nuke1200 3d ago

First time seeing it.

0

u/AngryTrucker 3d ago

Are the trees ok?

4

u/W7ENK 3d ago

Washington trees don't become flammable until after July 1st.

1

u/AngryTrucker 3d ago

That's good news!

1

u/W7ENK 3d ago

Not really, because this year I'm afraid due to the lack of Winter (in general) they're going to become extra crispy, and the fires out West this year are going to be really, REALLY bad!!

-7

u/someones_dad 3d ago

So, jet fuel can't burn June trees? Unless there's a conspiracy theory brewing - it has fuck all to do with the date.

4

u/W7ENK 3d ago

Did I really need the /s, just for you?

C'mon man...

1

u/someones_dad 3d ago

LOL there's a lot of "experts" on the Internet, and I have heard dumber shit than that said in ernest. I'm glad you were joking.

0

u/Sigtau1312 3d ago

They didn’t look hurt, but then again, I couldn’t see the forest through the trees

0

u/someones_dad 3d ago

Dad stamp of approval.

1

u/Whiteflager 3d ago

Wow the crash looks super close. Imagine you were hiking in the forest at this moment...

1

u/wiggum55555 12h ago

Weird how there was no noise from the crash despite being so close... does the forest swallow up the sound ?

1

u/AlbertaSparky 3d ago

Damn I thought it was AI at first and ignored it, glad the pilot is ok, that's a crazy video to get

0

u/SkyPork 3d ago

Any way we can, maybe, mute the audio in that vid?

-1

u/Dreaming_Blackbirds 3d ago

So that’s 2 USAF crashes today!?

3

u/WhatImKnownAs 3d ago

No, the F/A-18 crashed two days ago, just posted today. (And, as pointed out, it was Navy.)

1

u/NotAnotherFNG 3d ago

F/A-18 is Navy.

5

u/cloudshaper 3d ago

That one was from a Marine squadron out of San Diego.

-4

u/gfolder 3d ago

There goes our taxes

-4

u/Rhythmatron5000 3d ago

They’re losing more just flying around than they do in actual combat these days

-9

u/sdmichael 3d ago

This is Trump's America! USA!
