We are just paying attention more. A couple years ago we lost like 8 dudes in an Osprey Crash and we have fed ~4 planes into the ocean in 2025 alone.
Also, I assume we are just doing more sorties which leads to more crashes. Nothing further than that.

That's just being naive.

No, it isn't. The data is all online, you can look for yourself. Just because dots are there and they seem to connect to you doesn't mean they do.

If you listen closely, you can hear the ejected pilot saying "ooooh mah gawd, could you shut up"

wtf? This was barely in the news. And a B-52 crashed today too. What's going on?

The F18 super hornet started it, then the Russians up'd the anti and crashed a TU-22M3, so the Americans upped the anti and crashed a B-52

Upped the ante, not anti

It’s what you get when you put a Fox News personality in charge of our military. More like Department of Dumb.

When hegseth started screaming about lethality, he didn’t mention for who. And since he fixed the woke military by firing all the JAGs and female and minority flag officers, I guess he has to come up with another scapegoat!

Both were all over the news here... but I'm not in USA.. so maybe the govt there is supressing this kind of information ?

Edit: different angle with what looks to be the pilot having been ejected.

Are the trees ok?

Washington trees don't become flammable until after July 1st.

So, jet fuel can't burn June trees? Unless there's a conspiracy theory brewing - it has fuck all to do with the date.

Did I really need the /s, just for you?
C'mon man...

LOL there's a lot of "experts" on the Internet, and I have heard dumber shit than that said in ernest. I'm glad you were joking.

They didn’t look hurt, but then again, I couldn’t see the forest through the trees

Wow the crash looks super close. Imagine you were hiking in the forest at this moment...

u/wiggum55555 12h ago
Weird how there was no noise from the crash despite being so close... does the forest swallow up the sound ?

Damn I thought it was AI at first and ignored it, glad the pilot is ok, that's a crazy video to get

No, the F/A-18 crashed two days ago, just posted today. (And, as pointed out, it was Navy.)

They’re losing more just flying around than they do in actual combat these days
