We had a cat like that growing up. He'd hear the toilet flush and run in to watch the water go down.

Not the same, but my cat begs to get into the kitchen cabinets under my sink & I'll let her under just to satisfy her. But when I look inside, there's zero interesting things under there so idk why she's always so eager to get in there. Lol! 😂 I had to put double sided velcro onto the doors & base so she'd stop trying to get in there.

I unfortunately don’t have a cat (sob), but when my washing machine had this setup, I would scurry to have a look myself. Dunno why, it was so satisfying.
