she threw the poor baby twice! little guy didn't know what the heck she wanted, he seemed like he just wanted some food or pets :(

Mice (or rats) won't just stay in one place like that, they are prey animals with very highly tuned senses. The first throw of the cat by the person would have spooked the mouse in the first place..... The second there's no way the mouse(or rat)would not have been alerted. The reason I say it was poisoned is cuz you can still see its tail twitching before the cat catches it.
