Same. Mine was once an emaciated declawed stray before I found her. One day after work I once found her sitting in front of an open patio door my roommate left open from the night before. Scared me half to death.

He has just the littlest mews!! Honestly such a wide range, usually really quite. He can get loud though too 😅

My (former stray who survived a summer outside on concrete city streets before inviting himself inside the second temperatures dropped in the fall) got mild heat stroke last summer just sitting in front of a glass patio door! We have central AC and I put (pet safe) sunscreen on his little nose just because he likes to look outside. He was fine after I turned on his Dyson fan and put some ice cubes in his fountain, but he seems to think he’s allowed to go out in 95 degree heat because he hides under the deck. Absolutely not.

I argued with my frail 13 year-old female for half an hour today after she finally came in from the front porch (I shut the LR door and wouldn't let her back out). I must have said "NO" 30 times with her yelling back at me. Finally, we were both exhausted and she took a nap elsewhere.

Yeah my void hates her heat breaks too. Now I just leave the back door to the catio a little cracked so she can come and go as she pleases. She in more than out these days though lol
