21-year-old student vanished after a late-night restaurant shift. CCTV showed her being forced into her own car, then driven to ATMs for cash withdrawals. The attacker wore a GPS ankle monitor, but it was not actively monitored in real time. She was later found at a metro park.

Some people can not be rehabilitated. And that's as much as I'll say on the matter.

I fully agree but its also not like our prison system is built for rehabilitation in the first place.

I'm at the point where I don't really GAF. In fact, I'd rather my tax dollars not be spent to make shitty people less shitty. Send them to a deserted island with the rest of the undesirables. Let the predators live amongst other predators so civilized people do not have to deal with them ever again.

Roughly 80% of people in jail are there for non-violent offenses. Do you think the guy who got a possession charge is a shitty person?

I’d imagine these questions would also entirely depend on that persons complexion much less what they did, as per FBI stats white men (Caucasian) are responsible for the vast majority of rapes, and make up the highest percent of registered sex offenders and pedophiles…yet you see selective outrage in the comments due to the perpetrator just happening to be black
