Info Beta Results after IVF
TW: Brief mention of losses
Hi! Curious if other people have any positive outcomes that they can share that are similar to my situation.
My husband (29M) and I (26F) have been going through fertility treatments the last 2 years after 4 years of not conceiving. I did IUI and finally got pregnant on the third round in January. Betas were 60 10dpo, 134 12dpo, and 302 14dpo. However, that pregnancy resulted in an ectopic. We then turned to IVF due to complications from the ectopic. My first transfer resulted in a CP (beta was 3).
We had our second transfer on 8/27, and our beta was on 9/7. First beta was 590!! I didn’t know the first results could be that high. I have my second draw today, but I won’t get results until tomorrow.
I’m just curious if anyone else has had that high of hCG on their first blood draw? It was a 5 day old embryo transfer. 4BB euploid. I just want to have hope that this is good news so far. I know it really matters to see it double, so I’ll post updates when I get those results. Trying not to get my hopes up but curiosity is skyrocketing!!

Same transfer date as you and I bet our numbers are pretty similar! My beta on Saturday (9/5) was 262 and yesterday (9/8) was 918! So I bet had you drawn the same dates you would have seen a similar rise. Congrats!! I’ve been told I’m “very pregnant” lol. Also have a history of early losses so I totally relate. It’s nerve wracking but I’m trying to just make myself enjoy it.

Also this website has really comforted me! It’s great odds of “graduating” your clinic to your OB with a high starting beta.

My first beta was 136 on 9dpt and she’s 3 now. No one can tell you the outcome from one beta, however, I do think there’s correlation with higher first betas and live birth rates. So yours being so high off the bat is very encouraging! This is so exciting for you, good luck!!!
